Hmmmmn. The soldiers names were removed.this shows that there must be something behind the scene with the initial story run by media when the case first appears. Among the suspects there is an ex-inspector officer from same ibi. Now just by chance it is possible the inspector was informed about the arrest at the village as the IRT arrests wadume and as security personnel he must have cordial working relationship with the military checkpoint because it is his zone and the check point is not a temporary checkpoint. So the inspector may call the army checkpoint and inform them that kidnappers have just kidnapped wadume and they are in an unmarked white van. The next thing is to stop that vehicle no matter what. No fool will stand on the road and wave down a vehicle of kidnappers that were known to be armed. So the only thing is take cover and ambush the vehicle. Secondly some will say why can't they shoot the tyres of the vehicle? Now whoever knew the way a gun recoil after shooting will not say so. The truth is not everybody have the sniper capability. It is a natural talent not something that everyone can train and acquire. So shooting the tyre of a moving vehicle is very hard as in it is very hard on average personnel to shoot at the tyre and successfully get the tyre of a moving vehicle. Pls stop watching too much American films whereby one shot at the tyre and that's it. Thirdly, after the shooting they found wadume with handcuffs and the so called irt team. Now on average who should you trust? The kidnappers or the kidnapped victim? Some will say they have ID card but you know you can make any type of I'd card from any respectable computer center. After that they carry wadume to their base (barrack) and removed his handcuffs. All these are normal procedures. Now the only thing the military did which is wrong is allowing wadume to leave their base. So if they should be punished is because of allowing him to go before the conclusion of the investigation. |
