Asour: Looking at IGR, then there's no justification for that #200 billion. It's just unrealistic in a state where peace still remains a mirage. The reason some nonentities who call themselves leaders read out bogus figures every year is that nobody questions what percentage of the previous budget was implemented and on what. Perhaps much of the funds that Zulum will use to finance the budget will come from the federal government and foreign non-profits. I hear that Borno has more NGOs than any other part of Nigeria - thanks to Boko Haram. Lastly, I must commend the governor for allocating a sizeable amount to education. He's really living up to the expectations of a professor. The northerners really need quality education, and Zulum is doing a great job in that regard. 2 Likes 1 Share |
