This is unbelievable,, l appeal to the FG to as a matter of urgency declare a massive total lockdown. Xmas celebrations should be suspected and let all Nigerians remain indoors.

I foresee the cases increasing tremendously within the next 3 days.

All offices, schools. Markets. Shops, motor parks, churches should be shut down.
Enough is enough.
yeah, just trying to increase the figures to match that of USA, nobody is fooled again, declare lockdown and you will get something worse than end Sars protest...

What do people even want grin. Number goes down and it's 'ncdc don cashout finish, coro don finish' grin. Number goes up and it's 'they want to cash out again, cos of vaccine grin'. If ncdc stops reporting totally, I'm sure they'll still cry about it being a massive fraud all along sad. The one above saying it's cause the numbers in the US are also going up grin .

A few months after criticizing the federal government for issuing a travel ban on Chinese residents, cases of new coronary pneumonia actually flooded from Europe into the New York metropolitan area, and Governor Andrew Cuomo was proved to be correct. Now, the main government agency dealing with the crisis agrees with this assessment. A new analysis by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) determined that by the time the federal government imposed travel restrictions on Europe, it was too late, and the virus had already established a foothold in the region. The federal government restricted travel from China in early February, but it was not until mid-March that millions of passengers had passed through the airport in this tri-state region before restricting travel from Europe. European travelers carried the virus with them.

Serologic testing of U.S. blood donations to identify SARS-CoV-2-reactive antibodies: December 2019-January 2020
Results: Of the 7,389 samples, 106 were reactive by pan Ig. Of these 106 specimens, 90 were available for further testing. Eighty four of 90 had neutralizing activity, 1 had S1 binding activity, and 1 had receptor binding domain / Ace2 blocking activity >50%, suggesting the presence of anti-SARS-CoV-2-reactive antibodies. Donations with reactivity occurred in all nine states.
Conclusions:These findings suggest that SARS-CoV-2 may have been introduced into the United States prior to January 19, 2020
