The Federal government of Nigeria on Thursday 10th December 2020 has reduced data price in the country by more than 50 per cent following a directive that the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) should put in place measures to that effect.

This information was disclosed in a statement issued by the technical assistant to the Minister of Communications and digital economy Dr Isa Ibrahim Pantami, Mr Femi Adeluyi.



Nation Naija understand that the price of data for 1 Giga byte has been reduced from N1000 to N487.
