Trying To Do A Wire Transfer Of An Amount That Is Below 100 Dollars by JagaJaga1: 9:02pm On Mar 24, 2011 |
I want to send 50euros (application fee) to a polish university. I will like to know if this is possible because GT bank told me that they have a policy of sending a minimum of 100 dollars therefore my transfer can't go through because the application fee is not up to 100dollars. I don't know what to do next because there is no other means of payment to the school. Can SOMEONE ADVICE ME ON WHAT TO DO |

GTB is a joke Go to FCMB, Stanchart or Fidelity. It'll cost you a little to open your own dom account but if you rapport with the R/ship officers, they can get a third party to assist you. though sending 50 euros will cost you minimum of 18 Euros but not more than 25euros. the reason for this is a standard telex charge of around N3000 or up to 18euros per transfer irrespective of amount transferred. |

Confirm from the school, if they accept payment with a 'Foreign Bank Draft'. If yes, GT bank should raise one for you. |
