nocomment9999:And Benin priest (ovoranmwen nogbaisi) was demoted for being a USELESS TrAITOR. Hahaha [s]3') the british also tried to turn other people who were not kings into kings: they tried to make Obaseki the king of Benin, but that failed.[/s]Obaseki was never a King, they appointed him a Regent while your priest Ovoranmwen was banished into the evil forest by the British because he was a useless traitor. [s]While the british managed to create a fake king (oni) for the "yorubas", they failed to do the same in Benin Kingdom and emphasized a division approach to the Kingdom.Just as Igbinedion created the legends of Ewuare 1, right?? ———————— [s]Your ooni is a priest, not a king, his entire monarchy is a fraud started by the british, continued by awolowo and maintained by fraudsters and gullible ignoramuses. These are mere claims which according to Hitchens’ Razor should be debunked by mere counter claims. As such, you’re a fatuous Janus-faced Bini liar who have zero ability of engaging in a logical discussion. Oh please don’t tell me you live in France and think that is counter-argument as usual. LMAO! The last time I engaged you, you were caught pants down lying about your Oba’s visit to Ife. You claimed your Oba Akenzua II’s visit to Ife was to greet the then Governor of Western Region — the Ooni. However, I disgraced you by demonstrating that the Ooni wouldn’t be made Governor until three decades later. And how did you react to the disgrace? The same thing you do when in shame. You deleted your account and fled in shame. Moreover, I have already debunked your reta.rded unsubstantiated claim into silence on this same page. Thanks for helping me bring it to this current page. See my comment below: The image attached by the OP traces to only one source as diverse and as versatile as the World-Wide-Web is. (1) “Yoruba” Founded In 1808 ?? DEBUNKED: https://www.nairaland.com/6234931/why-ikwerres-not-igbo-logic/15#96513655 Moreover, the oldest written evidence of “Oba” for your king yet on Nairaland is in the 1860s. Whereas, we have seen an 1845 usage of “Oba” for Yoruba kings. LMAO! Moreover, the attachments below published in the year 1903 shows that the Ooni of Ife had always been the head of all Yoruba monarchs since time immemorial. www.nairaland.com/attachments/12915204_3bb91d9be2ea45c5afd3f41e88728f3e_jpeg_jpeg645a15f18177fc5fe10c58c7cc98cb9c www.nairaland.com/attachments/12915205_d21b9942ec6b49db8268dddb52125c5d_jpeg_jpeg5b7a9464bca8be76b7a6cbdd30d76898 www.nairaland.com/attachments/12915206_ea1bb7bbeb514c029bf799998b655ca3_jpeg_jpeg94b9f98f3c978fcbb8823afc65a47cbc 5 Likes 2 Shares |

TAO11: Lol, she keep deceiving her ignorant kingsmen who failed to pick uo simple history book to read First picture depict, a setup human skull by the British to justify benin massacre on benin for her cruelty on human life's those skulls as you can see were neatly arranged by the British who picked the skulls from benin grave yard and set them up for photoshoot As you can see that place the picture was taken is not an alter or shrine , but a palace chiefs house, which would be very unlikely to do human sacrifice, the British was not the first European to visit the oba ancestral alter, guess what, they never saw human skull on the oba royal alter Obalufon Ideadoctor BabaRamota1980 Balogunodua Second pic's shows a misinterpretation of a Yoruba man who based in benin, tagged by a European photographer as a benin man, unknowingly If i am lying let her bring anoda picture of a benin man with such markings You can see my screenshot, below i was creating a thread last year on basic misconception on benin history, it was too broad for me at that time so i abandoned it inmy browser till when i am chanced, i talked about how the British set we benin up with the notion city of blood, to justify the benin massacre My fellow yorubas like me, Tao11 is an obsessed retard lets stop taking her serious She has fled so many times from my numerous questions 2 Likes

My Benin rag (aka gregyboy, aka Edeyoung) is on a ranting spree. I have definitely hit hard where it hurts — I probably hit the scrotum. Hahaha! My slave thinks rant is the same thing as evidence. Listen up, Oba’s slave; we need evidence not rants. Back up your rants with evidence, slave. Okay? Be a good slave! TAO11: Look attention seeker obsessed with Benin. I have no problem if we did human sacrifice, it would only be a fact of history for me. However, I have problems with scam artists like you. You keep posting pages of books only you can see (indeed you never provide the books, nor the source, which is the lowest standard possible in proving that you are not operating a scam) because either thoses books do not exist, either they contain things you do not wish people to see. Taking things out of context or creating fake material (which are what you are doing) is what I have a problem with. I guess the fact I responded you will make you extremely excited given that you have been stalking me for ages. |

I have a paper proving that the Oba of Benin was buried in or near his palace in precolonial days. The fact my ancestors were killing machines is not lost upon me, that is how we won every war we ever fought and created an empire until we were defeated by the british who famously claimed that we terrified everybody in the region. We loved to fight. We were born warriors and we had traditions similar to the vikings. I know all that, if we did human sacrifice then we were wrong, but again so did the vikings, warrior cultures tend to have this in common. I have a book which claims we used to sacrifice more than 1000 slaves upon the demise of the Oba of Benin and fill diches around the palace with the blood of the slaves (the slaves were probably ife people: my opinion). History is history, I won't change it just because I don't like it ! I am not a yoruba, I don't invent my history, I discover it. Once again, this tao person is a scam artist always hiding whatever he quotes or perharps even making up stuff, I urge everybody to look at what he posts as what they are: scams. |
Re: Oni Was A Chief Priest by gregyboy(m): 12:24am On Jan 08, 2021 |
TAO11: This is a perfect example of missinformation The tradition of rain ceasing has always been simple without the use of human sacrifice [color=#990000]If that is a human skull like the photographer assumed then that person must have committed a grave offense, making them behead him and putting is head in a stake for others to see A human sacrifice body or head is well buried and kept close to the alter and not on a stake Staking a head ib both benin and European religion mean punishment Lastly it could also be an animal head, used to offer sacrifice to the gods annually The photographs misinterpreted or probably wrote it that way to instigate negativity, already boiling between benin ans the British[/color Am still waiting for the picture of another benin man with such markings in his face And a later article frin Ryder denouncing is former works |

My rag (aka gregyboy aka Edeyoung) said those are animal skulls. Interesting! No slave, those are your ancestors’ skulls. They are fellow Binis like you — they are Oba’s slaves. I can’t remember your Oba keeping animals as slaves, dullard! Moreover, your fellow Bini slaves (Mr Aguramasi and Mr Agbe) conducted Cyril Punch to this altar where the mined skulls of your daddies and mommies were stored. www.nairaland.com/attachments/12954752_c679c255e9734706a82b6bdbca281836_jpeg_jpegb80155ba48a6cc6514c4fa1e635acff9 Like I always say; you are the dullest of all my Benin slaves.
