What you observe is the "proceedings against her" as reported by one source, with no awareness at all that there might be another side that has not been presented to you in the source that you observe, and with that one side do you judge that Eve offended and must be punished.

And you do this without observing even the evidence that your source provides you, which is that Eve did not die from acquiring knowledge, but her eyes opened and she gained wisdom and she freed herself and her Adam from the Garden they were slaved in to become self employed, and went on to populate the entire earth with people who are today considering migrating to Mars.
