Entertainment anywhere in the world is a money making industry...same way a grown man kicks football and earns millions or a model etc. It is not the state governor that paid the BBN winner but private sponsors... So I don't know why you feel it is same thing...is it the government that paid anyone the 80m for eating and sleeping

In as much as you have a point..Entertainment industry can't be compared to the Academic institution, NEVER..Entertainment industry will always be more lucrative..How many doctors and professors are on Forbes list? Even in developed countries.. They will definitely be comfortable but not as rich as entertainers.. That's just the bitter truth..
