Aisha Yesufua, Co-convener of the BringBackOurGirls campaign and activist, has lambasted the Nigerian Government for employing the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association, MACBAN, to negotiate the release of the 333 schoolboys abducted from Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina State.

Following the release of the schoolboys on Thursday, the Governor of Zamfara State was quoted to have said the state consulted MACBAN and some repentant bandits to negotiate the boys’ release.

The boys, who were kidnapped from the Government Science Secondary School in Kankara, Katsina State on December 11 and ferried to a forest in the state were released on Thursday with no ransom reportedly paid.

The Governor also stated that no ransom was paid for the students’ release.

Reacting to the development, Aisha Yesufu, a vocal voice on social media, questioned the capacity on which the Fulani organisation was called to act as a middle man.

“Miyetti Allah negotiated with terrorists on behalf of the government. In what capacity? Aisha said.

“Is Miyetti Allah a trained negotiating organisation or a fellow terror organisation with access?

“What the heck is going on in Nigeria? How are we comfortable with a supposed ethnic group being the one negotiating with terrorists on behalf of the government.”

For the fake and selfish activists/celebrities, they had wanted things to get out of hand - like the aftermath of the EndSars protests - so they could use the opportunity to consolidate their online presence.. They don't give a rat's ass about the wellbeing of the kidnapped kids.. You know, they've got gardens of saboteurs on social media and tears and blood - not water - have proven to be the most potent carrier of nutrients from the misfortunes of Nigeria to these saboteurs - the enemies of State...

For the businessmen and women, they are only after the money... "How do I monetize this?" .. is all they think about.. One of my neighbors - I won't mention his name - swung into action, immediately he heard the news.. In less than 10 hours, he had designed thousands of "BringBackOurBoys" tshirts to sell.. Trust me, he has been insulting President Muhammadu Buhari and the government for securing their release.. His anger is that he lost millions of naira..

I won't cry more than the bereaved. Let the North be negotiating and paying terrorists up and down. I am sure the bandits will be encouraged to buy more arms and continue in the lucrative business of kidnapping school kids. PMB was a war general and commander in chief. Why can't he ordered his troops to take the war to the bandits and terrorists? Why do we wait for them to kidnap our kids? Just imagine, most state governors in the North West and North East has hurriedly closed public schools. Who is in charge? Government or terrorists?

It appears this was a well coordinated abduction amongst various wings of the same terrorist organization.

If you aren't bothered about how myetti Allah are central to the negotiations, then you are truly blind and have no sense at all.

Aisha has a serious problem.
There is a thin line between Miyetti Allah and bandits so it makes sense that they negotiate on behalf of bandits.
Before you jump to Aisha's defense or deflect to Buhari's glaring incompetence. Ask yourself whether the lives of over 300 boys are worth some activists' ideal but wrong view of reality. If you want to play cleanly with bandits, those boys would have been handed over to Boko haram by now and the rest will be history.
