iampaulsmith: .... @iampaulsmith,... Have you decided to defer your admission as I know we were initially waiting to get a final responce soonest or before the month end. I have already deferred mine to Spring and informed IRCC via webform. No NSE, No medical, nothing.. But eligibility has started. It will surely end in praise. 2 Likes |

Yes, hubby applied on November 26. No NSE request but added all the NSE requirements. Medicals are showing as passed (since Nov 30) and eligibility review is ongoing. That's all we have for now. Can't wait to get an approval Tohbieee: |

But they did not even ask me to submit NSE requests and I applied on October 5. I'm just tired. Had to send MBS certificate two days ago just to fasten it. Requested for gcms on december 29, still waiting for that too and I have resumed as well. What are you doing about yours? I'm tired of waiting, I would have sent IELTS if I had but I only got MBS. I'm considering sitting for IELTS sef even though they did not send me NSE request. Wondering why they did not send some October applicants NSE request. iampaulsmith: |

euginocreation:1) Hi, You would need to do a serious research to get a Masters Scholarship and be very intentional about it. The following Content will help/guide you See the link below for universities offering Masters in Fine Arts and other Arts Related Courses https://www.universitystudy.ca/search-programs/?k=Fine+Arts&program_level_merged=Master%27s+degree&program_language=ENGLISH After you are through checking out the schools, the following Contents will help package yourself to get a Possible Masters Scholarship for the schools above. To prepare & package your application for a Funded M.SC scholarship position, this is your plug https://www.nairaland.com/5818588/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/111#90933556 For those sending emails to professors If you want to know why: -The Prof ignores your email -The Prof deletes it without responding -The Prof sends a negative response -The Prof sends a positive response Read this piece by Prof. Marc Dube, University of Ottawa, Canada https://www./looking-graduate-student-position-heres-how-avoid-frustration-dub%C3%A9/ Note: Don't limit yourself to few schools, widen your horizon & explore lots of schools so you can have more chances to get a Funded Masters Scholarship 2) To your second question about your family going along with you, await a response from gurus & other members. 1 Like |

I got my refusal letter today. I was rejected based on my purpose of visit and travel history. I've ordered for my gcms notes. I'm an HND Accounting graduate and my proposed course of study in Canada is Diploma in Business Accounting(2years). I got to know about career progression when I joined this thread. I want to reapply but this time for a PGD program. Please which course will align with my certificate and which school offers such programs. 1 Like |

OtunbaTee:Some applicants don't know how far these VOs can go and they take things for granted. Nairaland is very popular and some VOs do come here to read people's comments. When I see people saying they will out money in their account and remove it while their application is still active I just laugh. A WORD IS ENOUGH FOR THE WISE. Congratulations on your approval 2 Likes |

adeniyi3971:I will strongly advise against abandoning NYSC if you are to serve this year. You can pursue both at the same time, because as it is now the earliest you will start studying will be in September (that is if you have admission already). 1 Like |
