evergold:I wouldn't advice you to have extra, because you will be charged in $ for every extra kg(which will be very high at the end). Make sure you only take things that are very important to you(things you know you can't find easily in Canada). If you like your Naija food so much then you can decide to carry mostly foodstuff and very little clothing (with the intention of getting more when you arrive Canada) 2 Likes |

Questions: Has anyone traveled from Nigeria using Turkish Airlines to Canada lately - or do you know someone? Did you or them have to do Covid-19 test? For those who took food, did you declare on your declaration form and what was the implication of this? I intend to carry most of the food and utensils I would need for the first month or so especially during quarantine. Mind you they seized my Agbo Jedi - they called it herbs and plants - and gave me a caution slip, several years ago, so I won't hide any of the stuff I carry. Thanks. 1 Like 1 Share |

VonVictor:You don't need WES evaluation, apply for your transcript from your previous school and address it to MUN and it will be sent to them by your previous school (that's what makes it official). Though if you have strong connection in your previous school you can get the sealed copy of the transcript then you send it to MUN via DHL or FedEx or any other courier service company (for fast delivery). Another option is if you are applying to more than one school, you can apply for student copy transcript from Unizik and then personally send to all the schools for them to process your admission, once you get offer from any other schools you can now apply for the official copy to be sent to them by UNIZIK. 1 Like |

One more question please. I went through the list of documents needed for application and visa grant. Unfortunately, i do not have a direct sponsor as my mum is late and my father is retired. But i saved up some money from trading Stocks and Agro-investments. Can i sponsor myself for the student visa application or is there a way around this? |

JosephYemsol:No it's not out of place, lately they've been this delay with payment reflecting, if you payment was successful then exercise more patience it will definitely reflect. A friend of mine paid same about 3weeks ago through Western Union Business Solution, it took about 8 business days to reflect as against the normal 72hrs as at August. I am also expecting one other payment to reflect through same Western Union Business Solution it's day 3 now. It will definitely reflect, PATIENCE 2 Likes |
