Officers Of Newly Launched Security Outfit Allegedly Killed A Woman, Injured A Man In Delta State


According to videos that is currently going viral, the officers of newly launched security outfit, Delta HAWK has allegedly shot a woman dead and injured a young man hours ago.

If you could recall that the Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa launched a new security outfit named Operation Delta HAWK weeks ago, he made it clear that the security outfit comprises of different security agencies and they would help in tackling insecurity and banditry in the state. In the videos currently going viral, a man alleged that the officers of the newly launched security outfit, Delta HAWK allegedly killed her and left her body at the scene. He was in tears when he was recording the video and he said that they killed a mother who didn't do anything wrong.

Angry youths have refused to take the corpse of the woman to the mortuary. According to one of the videos, a man said they are planning to protest in Asaba and call for the End of Operation Delta HAWK.

A man who was with the woman that died was allegedly shot by an officer of the security outfit and he has been rushed to the hospital, he is currently recovering but as at the time of this report, the cause of the shooting is yet to be known.
