WHY WILL I BE SILENT?

Why will I be silent?

How could I be mute?

You took away my treasure

You left me chattered without measured

Yes! I am a seedling

I am to be nurtured,

I am a lady of dignity

A happy lass of honor

Not until a day in my peaceful world

You came into my realm

Not until you came in

without a knock nor a notice

You have your way with me

I struggle to make you understand it isn't right

But you're too deaf to hear my pleading

You're too blind to see my pain

You plundered my pride

You took away my honor

I am left in a world of trauma

I am no more me,

I know mine isn't the first

But I'll make it's the last,

I'll break the record for my peers

I'll make them never to rain painful tears

Now tell me why I should be quiet when I want to be a hero,

Tell me why I should remain silent,

Never will I be silent,

I'll speak for my peers

And wipe away their tears.
