We seem to have short memories- recall successes recorded by PMB in the first 3-4 years of his administration against insecurity. Most territories seized by BH were reclaimed. Religious houses that were bombed at will across the country by terrorists were eliminated. Remember all the precautions that Churches and Mosques were taking then. Abuja was being bombed now and again if you still remember. Niger Delta was a hotbed of kidnappings, bombings and vandalisations.

I admit that some of those gains have been reversed in the past year or so. Reason why we should keep telling the President to overhaul his security team and strategies. Constructive engagement rather than hatred is way to go

That means, God won't answer the prayers of most Nigerians...cos they all hate him.

But Femi made some observations which I support.

I listened to Madam Oby criticise Buhari for acting slowly over the Kankara boys saga. Even lambasted him for visiting his cows instead of visiting Kankara. Comparing our sluggishness to the speed the US employs even for just one missing citizen. However as the Kankara boys returned, same Madam Oby expressed doubts on the genuineness of the kidnap in the first case. Haba!

What kind if double talk is this? Seemed quite awkward for me especially coming from someone with her experience and exposure.

It's common knowledge except to propagandists being fuelled by Buhari's govt that Jonathan succeeded in pushing Boko Haram to the fringes of the Lake Chad before he left office. That's why elections could hold in all LGs of Adamawa and Borno States.

Having said that, can you say with all honesty that the security situation is better today than it's then? Boko Haram has become even more powerful and dangerous than it's pre 2015. They have become more daring and have acquired increased capacity to attack and sack whole army formations (something they never tried under Jonathan). More people continued to be killed daily and you've the gut to accuse Oby of hate.

Banditry and kidnapping have become ride under Buhari. Abuja-Kaduna-Kano road have become impasable today. Lokoja-Auchi have become a nest of kidnappers today, in fact most highways in Nigeria can't be accessed except by heavily armed escort.

Truth's Boko just chanced tactics and have become more lethal now than they ever were. Bombing of Abuja has stopped but killing of Nigerians have increased in geometric progression.

Nobody hates Buhari, what people hate is the failure he epitomizes.
