(accelerated Msc adult/mental health nursing) I didn't do nursing at BSC level. I studied mass communication with a second class upper though I did auxiliary nursing for two yearsl and I have about 3 years of working experience in the health sector..

I first asked here the possibility of going to the UK with my son and sister since there is no one here to leave them for and I was advised here to do Legal guardianship for my sister which is underway..

as I logged on today, a question caught my attention.. someone asked if she could go with the child she had for another though she is now married to someone else.. some of the responses are what got me worried and prompted me to want to ask more on my own case..

I am a single mother.. never lived with the father of my child and never been married.. child is in my custody since birth but no bad blood between the both of us..

do I also need court documents for my son to go with me or a consent letter from the dad is enough?

Because I don’t know how this will fly, during visa applications or will showing the family pictures and wedding pictures, solve such issue

BSc Biomedical Science does not automatically qualify you to be registered with the HCPC except you have done the registration portfolio while studying.

With what solalal36 said, yes you can send your certificates for assessment and they determine if there’s any fallbacks which can me made up by doing topup modules.

To be registered with HCPC you need to have accredited degree and experience which is in form of portfolio.

Well, from Omopapa's previous posts, after your masters degree, you send your portfolio to IBMS for assessment. They will send you the necessary courses for top up.
Do the top ups.
From there, you can get verified by IBMS, then HCPC certificate.

This is compound name, wedding certificate will solve this cos it is not an issue at all

To add to this, if you already have BSc medical laboratory science from Nigeria and have lab experience in Nigeria, you can apply for HCPC registration through the international route. You don't need to complete the IBMS registration portfolio for this.

I think he was asked some questions relating to the fund, and unintentionally he grooved.

Because, it an automatic refusal if they notice the fund has left his account. They will not bother to interviewed him.

He applied with his dependants.

He had more than the required balance in his account for about 36 days.

Did biometrics 18th January

Took out all the funds after 36days

But application was still with UKVI

Got interviewed on 24th Feb

Got a refusal mail because their investigation shows the funds have left the account.

Now someone is suggesting he goes for Admin review... We are confused now and don't know what to do...

He was scheduled for 15th February but they didn't call.. So they later rescheduled him for 24th..And our agent didn't advise us properly, because if he did we would have just left the funds.. He said remo ing it didn't matter as long as the Visa application has been submitted and biometrics done.

Agent, agent, agent! It always the case more often than not. Make we dey try read, gather information by ourselves and do more researches, so as to know the best approach, plan and procedures because you alone can give yourself the best.

How many months/years experience do you think will guarantee registration with HCPC?

Pls I have another question as regards Proof of Financial Support; I have someone that is willing to sponsor me. He is my uncle.

Can he transfer the funds for (tuition+maintenance fees+ accommodation) to my own personal account? If YES, do I need to get any letter of sponsorship from him or gift of deeds (for the money transferred)? I’m afraid the transfer of large sums of money might raise a concern in the mind of the visa officer?

OR is it that the most important thing is that the money should just be in the student’s account for the 28 days period or more; the visa manager does not care about the source of funds?

Also, do I need to pay the whole tuition fee (for the issuance of CAS) or any amount/deposit prior to applying for visa? ( what I actually mean is that can I pay part of the tuition and leave the rest in my account?
