So how many are they employing?

No one can tell except those with correct sauce, but one thing is sure, they needed more, hence their beating down the cut off mark. I'm sure after screening this batch, if they still need more, they will still bring down the cut off. Probably, interview will be the stage for final dropping. I pray for God's help!

After I have forgotten and given up, I got an email from Oil and gas jobs this morning asking me to upload my credentials on their portal

Congrats to all who have been called. I pray your documents scale you through to interview stage. Success to all. And congrats in advance to all who will make the documents screening and interview stages.
I'm pleased finally that my 72 score didn't waste. God will see me through.

It's a good thing that NCDMB had to invite more applicants from 74% downwards to upload documents for screening. Hence no one will allege that the recruitment exercise wasn't fair.

Please note that if you are trying to upload your documents and you are seeing a wrong attachment when you check the documents. Please rename your document to be unique a little bit. You can add your name Eg CV - Peter Moses.

This should work perfectly for you. Please also confirm the correct document is uploaded after doing this.

Also, in order to add work experience, whenever you finish entering the details and you click "add experience" a pop message will appear saying it was added successfully. You should view what you have added by clicking on the "experience" button on the far left side of your screen before proceeding to add a new one via the "edit profile" button.

I got 73%, got the email this evening to upload my certificates. I tried to upload my NYSC, but it was showing me someone else's own on my page. I also input my Bachelor's degree with second class lower and I was prompted I can't continue until i input masters. So apparently 2:2 Candidates with experience can't upload their certificates and can't move on.
Is Anyone experiencing this?

Not all FG jobs pay relocation allowance. The calculation is made from the state of residence indicated on your CV and your current martial status( if you're married and with a family, you tend to have higher one-off package than a single candidate).

Federal government usually pays relocation allowance, they call it baggage allowance.
They calculate it from your state of origin.

Didn’t they have access to the documents we uploaded during the application? This document screening should’ve been done before the initial test invite. Imagine the trauma that people will go through after writing and smashing the test only to be disqualified because apparently you weren’t meant to write the test in the first place. These people are not serious at all.

Age issue affected most of the GT applicants while career progressive layer affected most of the EH as decuments (uploaded decuments) review is over. Most of the GT forged their age to scale through while EH does nt have good career progressive layer as far relevance working experience wether in government or private agency. What the guy said is in order. If they invited 600 people to upload credentials and 200 (assumption) was able to scale through based on the set criteria, obviously they would have to beat down the cutoff mark to accommodate the remainder of the number they need. I'm sure they will still screen out now, and most likely during the interview.

I said that based on what obtains in ASCON, as written in the Public Service Rule. Except some federal government jobs don't use PSE rule sha. PSE rule handbook is online, you can download and check it yourself. The money is supposed to be paid when you start work and when you retire. It is calculated from your state of origin.

The theory rather confirms what’s happening now. It’s that simple. And yeah, whatever we get on this platform are all speculations.....but some persons’ speculations tend to be “truer” than others. The person you referred to seems to belong to the good “some”. He mustn’t be 100% accurate (he’s not NCDMB), but he’s been helpful.
