I wouldn't think so. So far, the board has shown signs that there would be fairness in the process, even if it May not be absolute considering the kind of country we are in. Plus, we are not fully sure whether the interviews conducted are genuine or carried out by scammers who probably collected money from unsuspecting candidates. Anything is possible. As for me, I am keeping a positive outlook. Let's keep praying and believing that it ends in praise. A little faith is a lot of faith.

Sorry, but the board has failed woefully, starting from a simple test it could not contract to capable hands. And this should not even excuse anyone's failure because if it were a merit-based system as well, many of these same victims wouldn't make it.

Although, I'm not a part of this exercise but I grieve for the loss of the previous thread. According to findings, the overzelousness of many people who still wouldn't get the job cost us that thread. I mean, whatsapp group for what?

One of them insisted that the noisy whatsapp group the created is more useful than this but he wouldn't stop coming here for information. It's a big shame.

I really hope they do virtual interviews o...cos traveling at this time with the risk of "covid-19" isn't too nice...and besides it would help save a lot of money and stress too...just saying

I agree
I think people are dropping too many irrelevant information on the platform like the cut-off mark, the board's decision, no interview just offer letter and soon.
I think what we need now is to take a chill pill until somebody says I just received a success mail, an interview invitation or an offer letter.

Conspiracy theories and info from the GMs are not helping at all.
Just be patient, be prayful and all will work well.

That comment if yours destroys the little logic you think you are trying to make. I have a close person who took that test. How dare you say a horrible setup where the test portal takes years to open, you answer the first page but then to get to next oage the portal takes 20 mins to get there (have in mind that the timmer is counting) then if you refresh it takes you back to homenpage where you have ro sign in again (timmer still counting) which takes another 20 mins that is if it opens at all.
Then when it finally opens you are afraid of even going forward to see if there are easy questions you can answer because you know that once you skip a few to move forward, you may not be able to return back to the page you left behnd.
Plus, I saw the live question and answers marked on a website where hundreds of people were following and using to answer the questions when they sucveed in logging in.

As in while some were answering and struggling legitimately, some were just answering using orijo.
Kai it pained me that I did not see it earluer before she wrote. Cos last last Naija rewards scammers and I have no regrets if she had also scammed her way to the top cos those are the majority that will populate the list of who made the cutoff mark.

I have learnt that Nigeria doesnt like honest peiple, cheat and scheme your way to the top and you will be celebrated. Those who can not scratch and claw by any means possible will be mocked. Its only God that will help that country.

How does taking away ones opportunity to prove ones abilities to succeed not be considered an excuse for ones failure at that particular task?
Do things right and let thise who fail legitimately know that they did so due to their errors. Dont lead people to failure and then remove blame from yourself claiming ehn, some of you would have failed anyways even if we did not Bleep things up fir you on that day. .

Its like saying you dont blame a mother who doesnt cook good food for her kids cos the kids "MAY" end up not eating what the mother cooks anyways. Or saying you dont see corruption as a problem because not many people would have succeeded even if the leaders were not corrupt anyways. Your menrality is why Nigeria is a shithole.

You're simply agitated at the wrong person and I'm not sorry for that. I acknowledged the failure of the board but I'll say again that many of you scream your lungs out for a merit system you wouldn't even qualify for either. If you followed the NNPC thread and you're here again, you should understand. And don't tell me about little or big logic, I don't owe you either of them.

The truth of this matter is, the vast majority of those who are participants of this exercise are hoping on 'God' for 'divine testimony' and not really a merit-based system. If you ever hope on God for this job and you're angry some people saw questions before the test, you're a big hypocrite. You're banking on the supernatural God to make you a way into the organization, which is absolutely acceptable, but you're mad some people are connected to mere mortals or saw the questions before hand. In the end, you're just another selfish creature masquerading as a saint because you missed this one. Fool everyone else but you can't fool me.

We all love merit system when we're helpless but I tell you, even in private companies and all around the world, some people are favoured than others. I feel your pain but I really can't help.

Just look at logic of some people sha. So if people wrote that test witjout a glitch, those who passed will not look up to God for a spot?

Or that if it was based on merit alone, people who are looking at merit and hoping to get a spot based on merit will not pray and hooe on God too?

I am NOT against Merit, infact better if they based this employemnt on merit alone than to stage a failed trecruitment test.

Yes. Merit would have been better.

And yes, I have learnt to be as selfish as can be when it comes to such things no regrets. Human nature requires it to some extent and I am human so yes, I have to be selfish but not evil. if I get food, I will feed my dependents first and then share the rest with yours. I am not ashamed to reason that way even you will do same and may save the remaining for your future use instead of sharing with me.

...... So far as I know that I or whoever I am pushing aka supporting will get there and perform I will push for our good.....Let us all get there first. And then we show what we are capable of achieving on the job.

I SALUTE ALL WHO SCALLED THROUGH. But let us not justify the wrong way things were handled or drown the voices of those who feel they could have done better had all things being equal. Aka the test was smooth and without hitch. Why do you seek so much to drown their voices?

When I found that site, I even wanted to post the link to that test on the now deleted thread so that all who will write will be armed equally but they were deleted and people who already wrote asked me not to.

I made my comment based on how many people say the messed up test is not a big deal or reliable excuse for some of those who did not score well. You are not the first to mention it and I wonder how you guys reason.

I hardly comment here but this wrong mentality has got to stop because of our future in Nigeria. Let us learn from mistakes and try to improve rather than wave errors aside and blame victims.

How then do we fix our society if we reason like that? For how long will we dwel on such vicous mindset. With a mentality like yours the average man has no choice than to join the que of the selfish people if that will set him on the part of success. .

It's a vicious cycle.

Happy Sunday All, please I plead there's no need for us attacking each other based on how the system is run. My mentality is always to hope for the best and be ready for the worst; I have missed out on several Govt jobs but I always move on and keep hopeful when applying on another opening..... Nigeria is unique in its ways, we all can contribute to improve it positively each day in whatever position we find ourselves in, Best of luck to everyone !!!
