ns to palaceThe Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu has returned to his palace yesterday, January 1, two months after End Sars protesters chased him away from there on October 20 when they invaded the palace and carted away foodstuffs and his staff of office.
Some even swam in the palace swimming pool. The Oba finally returned after about ten weeks of absence.
Posting a video of the monarch entering his palace, Oreoluwa Finnih, senior special assistant to the Lagos governor on health, tweeted
“Our daddy is back home… Oba of Lagos, HRM, Alayeluwa Oba Rilwan Babatunde Osuolale Aremu Akiolu’s triumphant entry to Iga Idunganran Palace, today, Friday, 1st January, 2021.''
