In another news, mix garlic and ginger in hot water 5 times a day and drink, cures Corona Virus within 7 days. While other sensible Countries are busy finding and getting alternative cures being extremely carefully avoiding the silent destroyer Covid Vaccine, Nigerian Government was quick to disburse Billions, importing it. Anything that would reduce suffering and truly prolong lives of Nigerians, Fulanis Government would NEVER rush to do like this. Take the Vaccine at your very own peril.
Stop posting this infantile nonsense..
Mix garlic and ginger, how many Corona patients have you cured with that rubbish? angry

Nigerians are leaving because the Nigerian government has failed and they are so incapacitated and way to engulfed in their corrupt acts and failed governance to positively address this issue or any issues infact.

I can honestly not blame the young man. For all I remember people have been relocating to Canada since 2007 and even 2003 for those who saw the light earlier bt now it’s become a huge deal.

How can a country be so self destruct? What a failed state.

It is pointless debating with anyone living in Nigeria. Once you leave Nigeria and land in any other country (especially outside of Africa), you will realize that Nigeria is worse than a shithole. How can you debate with someone who marvels at the construction of freaking flyovers or pedestrian bridges?

Nigeria is not ready to develop.

Not Nigeria alone. The black race cant coordinate it self into development.

It is like a genetical something or a curse. I don't know. But blacks only do well in systems they don't fully control.

If u leave ur system for them to control fully, they will mess it up.

I can boldly say that the only nice/unique thing about Nigeria, is the Socio-Cultural element, however apart from that, [Everything] about Nigeria is currently in a very very very screwed state. As a matter of fact even the very atmosphere of Nigeria currently, can contribute to Rapid acute mental decline in a normal human being.

My advice as usual to every educated young Nigerian out there, who is trying to grow and get something valuable out of his/her person, remains unchanged "Migrate!" Even if its to Botswana, it doesn't have to be Canada.

It's very possible, just save money and leave that country. the first time I traveled out of Nigeria for school, I thought I left a very big zoo. I was free and overwhelmed, the joy in me was different that day and you won't want to come back because there's everything you need, and if you aren't the lazy type making it there is 100% possible.
pls help me get out of here. I need knowledge and info

Very vile comments. You can succeed anywhere, if he felt Nigeria wasn't good for him, fine! Don't know why they were dragging him like that.

Notice how those "critics' belong to THAT generation? the brain dead generation that propelled Nigeria into the terrible state it is in right now. the generation of religious fanatics and tribalistic bigots. A generation so daft and greedy. The same generation EgunMogaji belongs to - just to give a reference point to the sheer foolishness their brains are plagued with.

”I just graduated college with $100,000+ in debt”! People clap,
celebrate, and even hug you.

”I just got married and spent $30,000+ for one day”! People
clap, celebrate, and even hug you.

“I just got a loan for $400,000 to buy my first home”! People
clap, celebrate, and even hug you.

“I just got a loan for $40,000+ for a new car”! People clap,
celebrate, and even hug you.

That’s $570,000+ in total DEBT that most people are drowning
in but they are feeling GOOD about it because they are
being CELEBRATED for it!!!

But for me, I can never trade my stay in Naija for any damn thing!

On a visit, few years back, I spent two weeks in the posh, serene, organized streets of Baltimore, MD, U.S.A and I was fuckin' itching to return to my hectic, stress-filled Lagos. I just couldn't fathom why. May be 'cos I was missing ẹwa agoyin, cat fish, Nkwobi and cold Guiness big stout.

I tell you. That Egun man is not a serious person. After spending over 30 years outside, he returns back and sets up everything to his taste with his resources then he starts discouraging people from leaving. Someone that still has his US passport grin
These oldies got the best and decided to make sure future generations don't get anything. They're always doing this directly or indirectly.

When I'm ready to marry,I will never borrow cos I cut my clothes according to my available materials.

I bought my first car as a student by just doing some jobs, I didn't have to borrow cos I'm not foolish.

Goodluck in your inordinate quest to discourage youngsters from pursuing their dreams out of that shithole your politicians have destroyed.

If you have never left the shore of Nigeria, you can never understand why people relocate. I used to be a core patriotic Nigerian and most people were shocked after I relocated. People relocate just to regain sanity. The truth about Canada is, no matter how 'lazy' you are, there is something for you. Heck you don't even pay for education if you come in as permanent resident. You get a grant instead. Education is free for kids till end of high school. You get well compensated for your skills. I have a whole lots of reasons but cant possibly say it all. Be wise and Japa if you can. I still love my country. I want a brighter future for my kids though.

Why not send them to federal or state universities if you so love your Nigeria so much?

Don't compare your dumb country to any sane country in the west for ant reason.

slavery talk, West ain't nothing, it's some Africa and other countries resources they're stealing to better their country just because of useless leaders complex inferiority

which work are you doing abroad? I'm sure they can't put you in their office when they know you don't have self esteem, third class citizen want to defend his slave master, very foolish entity

was it not their private universities you and other Nigerians do your university there? I doubt if you're even in abroad because you're not civilized with your approaches

if you're truly in abroad, you will understand that they believe in live and let's live. I've made my stand that I'm not going to be a slave in another man's land and you're wailing about it? are we family members ?

make sure your brain enjoy sanity before they throw u down to Nigeria or before you leave the Sithole, very anyhow human being

Just asking as for the achievement level of at old age I was asked what my achievement in life was I won't mention traveling out is highly dumb

Same people celebrating are the ones that will still mess up that country for other Africans or Nigerians. Las las, Nigeria as a country is not bad, but we the citizens are the problem of the country. Until we individually/collectively take responsibilities and change our ways, the mess will continue. We like shifting blames, yet we are part of the problems.

Personally, Nigeria is one of the best place to be. Look at how they are destroying their own country online for the world to see. And you think your host country will respect you as immigrants? Never. A wife who talks bad of her family members in the presence of her husband and in in-laws is not wise. She is indirectly reducing her own value before her in-laws.....
Just shut up please.

Your Nigeria is the poverty capital of the world and you think it's best place on earth.

Maternal mortality rate is the highest after India.

Your politicians keep looting, killing and squandering the resources of your country and here you are blaming young men and women leaving the shithole for a better future.

Your thieving politicians and their daft supporters are the ones demarketing your country.

I can only go abroad for a vacation or visit. That's the best way to enjoy abroad. But relocating there? No way!
Contrary to what you see on social media, life is very tough abroad. Forget about the pictures taken in the snow and fine backgrounds, life abroad is very unfriendly. But there is a code of silence, those already there know you idolize them, so, they won't want to burst the bubble. And when you go too, you do same... So the cycle continues.
If you want to understand, look at Lagos, people migrate from all over the country , the majority suffering, but can't let their people back home know, for fear of losing face. You see people living in subhuman conditions, yet there is a place they come from where they at least have a roof over their head, but they are deluding themselves in the big cities. It's same abroad.

canada is taking highly educated people who typically have worked 3 years. They have tactically seived out potential fraudsters and riff raffs. You also need to score high ielts scores. There was a 83% rejection rate for Nigerian student visa application in 2019. They know what they are doing

I know of one brilliant Nigerian doctor who is also an Irish passport holder who was refused
