Nwadiuto247: No mind them. Them sit down for house they collect free money while others are fighting for their future. Now them don succeed small, the lazy mofos (same mofos that where insulting them when they were fighting for themselves, calling them selfish union) want to share their success in equal proportions. Same thing with Nigeria as a whole. When Igbos are fighting for their interest, Yoruba and Hausa will be mocking them. But when their fights start yielding interest same people will be envious of them. Same thing happens when Yourubas are fighting for their interest, Same thing happens when the North are fighting for their interest. There is no unity in this country..we are suppose to support each other. Help each other to fight as long as we know it's a righteous fight. IMAGINE ONE USELESS UNION SAT ON THEIR ASSES WHEN ASUU WENT ON 10 MONTHS STRIKE WITH HUNGER. INSTEAD OF JOINING THE STRIKE SO THAT FG WILL BE FORCED TO REDOLVE THE ISSUE IN TIME AND THE STRIKE WILL BE CALLED OFF WITHIN FEW WEEKS OR MONTHS, THEY MOCKED AND ACCUSED ASUU OF BEING SELFISH WITH THEIR DEMANDS. You only reap what you sow. The union has been kissing governments asses for long, they should continue kissing it. 2 Likes |

For those in support of the strike see how all the struggle ended up with multiple unions in disagreement on how to share the money or who should take a bigger share. Where is the revitalisation of universities issue? Can the fund less than N50b released for revitalisation of universities enough to match the trillions TETFUND have to effect meaningful changes in Universities infrastructure and learning atmosphere? Nigeria allocates 0.02% of National revenue to research and development and 2% to TETFUND. In the last 5yrs TETFUND received more than N1trillion excluding the annual education budget to tertiary institutions. it's high time we understand that both the govt and the unions are not serious about the claims and constant frictions because the so called revitalisation fund ASUU hide behind and make students suffer is fake while govt need to do more to avert further industrial actions in the Ivory Tower of learning. |

NwaNimo1: 40 billion for the whole universities, for the whole staff, for 2013 to 2016. Divide by 3 years, it becomes 13.3 billion. Divide 13.3 billion by total number of FG universities, then you will see how much goes to each institution per year, which is actually only in some millions. See? 2 Likes |

If nothing is done about ASUU they will create a lot of problems in this nation Go to the respective universities and see the havoc this union is causing in the selection of new Vice chancellors, you can never please them, anytime anything is against their favor they will tend to cause trouble Every meaningful Nigerian should speak out, ASUU has already killed our educational system, the global pandemic is not an issue for them and they are not seeking solution to bring an end to it Are they not the same academic as the white people they are waiting for A stitch in time saves nine |

Nazgul:Students should be ashamed of themselves that some of their lecturers earn 150,000 and they can't fight for the lecturers. Students are quite idiotic not to know that small money paid to them means the lecturers will seek alternative/additional source of income. This process of seeking added income will reduce time and energy to lecture and impact the students more. Students waky ooooo |

Let NASU, SSANU and NAAT proceed on industrial strike and let's see if it will attract any attention. They have achieved 65 years retirement age for nothing? Shouldn't they be treated like the regular civil servants? Jokes taken too far!!! |

Nazgul:Selfish interest ke. The way some of you talk here sef Is it not their salaries and allowances they are already entitled to they're fighting for? Somebody is trying to collect allowances owed since 2015 and you're saying selfish interest. Na wa 1 Like |
