On the Violent Riot in Zamfara state Due to Armed Banditry

Dear Friends, this is a true life story of a famous anti-banditry Warrior, Samaila Isah Laga (Yellow shirt), from Shinkafi Local Government Area of Zamfara state. The brother sitting with him is Jabir (a Journalist), a Member of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria.

Samaila Isah Laga has become a big obstacle to the murderous armed banditry in Shinkafi zone. The armed bandits then decided to eliminate him.

Recently, 11 heavily-armed bandits invaded the home of Samaila. He was nowhere to be found. The Bandits threatened to slaughter everyone in his family house if he did not appear. Samaila appeared due to this threat.

One of the Bandits attacked Samaila with a sword to cut off his head, the sword broke. The Bandits shot him 5 times, the bullets just dropped from his shirt. The frustrated bandits now abducted him to their base. At their base, the Bandits made attempt to break his neck but they failed. The Bandits then decided to burn him alive! They set fire on him but only his clothes got burnt.

They had to release him due to the violent protest of the angry Youths of Shinkafi.

I know my Foreign Friends will be surprised that how can sword and bullets fail to penetrate the human skin. This is African magic. This should be another topic for another day InshaAllah!

Dear Governor of Zamfara state @GovMatawalle,

Followers of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky are not the organizers of the violent protest in Shinkafi due to the abduction of the anti-banditry Warrior, Samaila Isah Laga.

The wanton destruction of properties by the violent protesters stand condemned. It is natural for Followers of Sheikh Zakzaky to oppose the murderous armed banditry and Kidnapping that has crippled the living condition of the suffering people of North West Nigeria. The Islamic Movement in Nigeria always stand for peaceful protest and Nigerians are well aware of this.

It is our hope that the suffering people of Zamfara state and all the states of the North West will overcome and defeat the murderous armed banditry.
