How can one print out his National identity card slip? The app apparently doesn't have provision for that.

I cannot access some of the features on the App.
They told me to contact NIMC and update my Biometric Data in order to access those interesting features.
..
Some of these Blocked features include:
Getting A Virtual NIN, And
Linking my other ID-Cards with the NIN.
Am not stressed about those blocked features. As long as my SIMs will not be blocked, am ok.
By d way, what's virtual NIN? Is it different from the one we retrieve by dialing *346#?

It's like there is no NIN on the permanent card or is there something I am missing. I have checked back and front.
I don't have access to my temporary NIN slip.

please how can i change the phone number i used during the registration?. i did the registration in 2014, am no longer using the phone number, i dont even remember the number again.

I was also able to link all my phone lines to the NIN numbers.

Downloaded and used the app seamlessly overnight, also linked my 3 numbers to my NIN. waiting for their response as the picture displayed isn't mine. Way better than going to their office anyway.


Can I link a number that is registered in my wife name to my NIN?

This is absolute nonsense.
Why is NIMC developing an App that I will download, install amd use to verify my NiN, when a USSD can do the same?
After I verify it once, what do I need the App for going forward?

that is not how the app support to work ... there should be a place to input your name alone and the number should pump up ..if not is a waste of data

NIMC officials are extorting people of their money,the so called NIN registration is supposed to be free,they collect money from people telling them they can get their NIN number in 24 hrs by collecting 3k,5k somebody said they even collected 12k from him,if you have been extorted by this people please share till their ass is busted

Not working for me here. I couldn't move beyond OTP login. The sent OTP doesn't work.

You can also link All your other numbers to your NIN through the App. An OTP would be sent to any number that you are attempting to link to the NIN, and you must use the OTP generated before the expiration of Ten Minutes.
(Maximum of Seven Phone Numbers can be linked)

You can scan someone else's NIN and ID-Card.

You can see your ID-Card on the App too.

Yes, no NIN on the Card. I have both the slip and card. Moreover the ID is not permanent. It has an expiration date. Imagine mine has expired 2015 to 10/2020 grin

I registered and obtained my NIN 7 years ago when I checked and was sent an 11 digit. But on typing it on this application it came out as an error..... Is someone in same shoes?

Pls I need someone to help me.
I did my NIN in November 2018 and I was given a white slip at first, and I was told to come back after some time to collect the number. I went and I was given a brown slip with my NIN number,that I would be contacted to come and collect the plastic card when it's ready. I haven't been called since then. Now, I am trying to use the app to link the number I was given but it's saying not correct. I even tried using the code given by MTN to verify my NIN but it's saying the same thing.
Pls what is happening?
