Here is another update on Deeper Life: a Holy cult. I'll post some excerpt but you should visit the site yourself to read the full detail

People do say Deeper Life refuse to conform to the changes of the modern world, and keep itself unique and chaste all the way. But the reality is this, Deeper life have refused to grow beyond it’s predecessor’s influence. The church has chosen the certainty of its early years due to the fears of change of the modern times and the chaos it could bring. It has refused to move beyond 1973. Yes, the Deeper Life Church is still stuck in 1973, and slowly before, but faster nowadays it is isolating itself from the real world, not keeping itself unique.

If you go to a Deeper Life Church, you must at least hear the phrase ‘Heaven is our home.’ Or ‘Heaven is the goal.’

The real world doesn’t match the mastered Creed’s and dogmas Deeper Lifers have yoked themselves with. Therefore, their major ambition is to get into a world outside this earth were everything will be Holy, pure, stainless and uniform as it is in their church.

O je loo wa ise. You better pray that God bless you with a good job this new year so you won't spend your time on Nairaland looking for how to trend. If you're trying to pick a weak spot for some churches in Nigeria as per doctrine, you will waste a good deal of your time doing that about Deeper Life. Those people read the bible front and back and so whatever they say, must have been written over and over again in the Bible.

So that you don't fade away like time, go and find a good job and leave churches alone. After all, they're voluntary non-governmental organisations and so they don't determine how your life is lived except you go there and if you go there, I tell you your life experience will change for better.
