“Failed to send usage data” error is payroll service error.
It arises when:
• An accountant’s copy is created.
• Date and time zone is incorrect.

This error can be fixed by:
Editing your payroll service key.
This can be done by going to manage your service key in My payroll service in employee tab in the QuickBooks.
Once this is done go to ‘My payroll’ and select send usage data.
