Very good and commendable of them. The Federal government should continue dragging back and forth.

Meet Malam Adamu Adamu, The First Minister of Education that Hates Education.
That's why he's Adamu, a minister of education that should even be looking for ways to make his ministry more functional even hates education, such an irony

And for that matter I also love Joy, Justina and Joan
He was also betrayed by the letter "j"judas and crucified by Jews and buried by joseph(forgetten his surname) that why i love the letter "j" family of "j"

Meet Malam Adamu Adamu, The First Minister of Education that Hates Education.

The problem the Minister faces is simple....he is running thoudsands of primary and secondarty school and nearly 200-300 tertiary institutions with a paltry sum of $2 billion dollars.

Meanwhile, the university arm of the tertiary instituions needs five times the amount of the budget for educaiton just to stay properly funded.

Let that sink in

The aboki has a masters degree and was a syndicated collumist before his appointment as Minister of education. He has also been very active in interfaith dialogue between Muslims and Christians.

An illiterate he is not.

You guys, the North has a lot of educated people.

Okay sir. But he has zero zeal for the ministry he is heading. Going to six years now, he is not not known for any progressive idea to rejuvenate our dead educational sector. The only thing his brain can understand as far as Nigeria Education system is concerned is lockdown, shutdown, closedown and other anti-progressive vocabularies.

1. Lockdown is out of his hands....covid19

2.You cant expect him to.do much woth the scanty budget he gets

Like now education gets 500 billion from the budget. Universities alone need something like at least 2 trillion or more annually in naira.

My suggestion, let university education be privatised through PPP. Let FG pay school fees of uni students directly into the universities. 100% scholarship for STEM courses, 50% scholarship for non STEM courses at all levels.

With this policy, expect a new dawn after an academic session. Government will spend less with better results.

No government in Nigeria can successfully run any investment or organization because of greed and corruption.
