oluwasegun007: My Dear, when Nigeria decided to vote a yoruba for equity, did the yoruba come together and chose Obasanjo ? Igbos dont have to chose one person for Nigeria, even if 20 people come out from Igbo,Nigeria should just support whom they consider the best from them and make President. Enough of this excuse of Igbos not agreeing on one person. |

odomanis: Obasanjo election was a different political atmosphere or arrangement... More like selection since it's a transition govt and we generally supported his candidacy in solidarityto the new systemof govt. No matter the discord currently in the south west, eventually the yoruba would support their own in the final hour. The igbos are blessed with economic knowledge passed from one generation to the other, I must say it's in the gene. But you see that political knowledge is a scarce commodity there. The earlier they realise the better, else the south west / North marriage would continue at their regional detriment. |

Come to think of it, when is the Afenifere's election coming up or it seems their tenure never expires. This present set of Afenifere leaders has been there since God knows when. They claim to defend us by always attacking the Fulanis or FG in one breath and supporting Atiku, another Fulani man,as a diversionary tactic. |
