The Lagos National Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium located in Surulere, Lagos State, Nigeria. The Lagos National Stadium was built in 1972 as 55,000 capacity, but in 1999, the capacity was reduced to 45,000 capacity. Since the Four-Nation LG Cup in 2004, which Senegal won, beating Nigeria 1-0 was hosted in the Lagos National Stadium, it has fallen into a state of decay for unknown reasons.
