This is very simple. Governors as chief security officers of states should set up a forest guard squad comprising of military, police and paramilitary that will routinely comb forests.

Nigeria rests on a tropical rainforest belt. Kidnappers, terrorists, ritualists etc. are capitalizing on these resources to perpetuate crimes, in fact, it's their hideout and base.

The earlier we begin mopping our forests reserve the better.
