The Safehouse Story by BuySafehouse: 11:11am On Jan 20, 2021 |
The Safehouse story is one of pure passion and purpose. We’re a collection of young Nigerians who have come together to combine their years of real estate and technology experience to ensure not any Nigerian and African ever gets into a faulty real estate transaction or loses their hard-earned money Most Nigerians have experienced or know someone who has experienced being duped from a real estate transaction. Is it the stories of buying land and properties only to discover much later that said owner of the property isn’t the legal owner of the property; what about the many stories of Nigerians in diaspora sending money back home for their friends or family members to help them get properties only to discover the property was never bought or substandard property was bought? Maybe I should share some stories that inspired this journey; I know of a friend who sent money home for the parents to help to build a duplex, he kept on sending this money for over five years only to get back home to discover the said home was never built rather the money was used to build poultry, yes a POULTRY. I also know of another client that sent money home for over ten years for a house to be built, on coming home nothing was built, not even a parcel of land was built. These stories abound everywhere in our society but we can’t continue like this, so Safehouse has made this a personal mission. We believe TRUST is the key to unlocking dead capital in Africa’s real estate industry. This is a personal mission; we exist so you won’t ever get into any faulty real estate deal. We’re building tools that ensure that you can buy a property and go sleep knowing that for years to come such property exists, is free from government acquisition or any encumbrance. So I’m inviting you to join us on this journey by visiting www.buysafehouse.com to see some of the tools we’re developing to ensure investing in real estate is safe and fun in Africa. You can subscribe to our newsletter or join our monthly webinar series where we take our time with industry experts to teach you on investing in real estate. |
