I said it from the onset. He came too early. How can a manager with just 2 years of experience manage a big club like Chelsea? I know many people will refer to Pep and Zidane. Those two guys are different. They started with clubs that have a culture. Barca and Madrid already know how they want to play. No manager can turn Barca to the all-defensive team. But, in Chelsea, their culture depends on the manager. Sometimes Chelsea is a counter-attacking team (Conte), sometimes defensive team(Mourinho), sometimes all attacking team (Lampard), sometimes passing & possession team(Sarriball). So, it takes an experienced manager to ingrain his method at a very shortest possible time and also have a great man-management experience to let the players listen and be consistent. No culture yet at Chelsea. If Lampard is given time, he will learn and build a culture. Can Chelsea wait for 5 years of up and down performance? No way. 4 Likes |

What is this one even saying? How is this a race issue? Wasn't Paul Ince the former Manchester United player given a chance to be a manager at Blackburn and didn't he flop badly? Didn't John Barnes fail at Glasgow Celtic? Didn't Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink flop at Queens Park Rangers? Didn't Thierry Henry fail miserably at Monaco? Blacks keep getting chances and failing woefully. internationalman: 1 Like |

Good thinking, Good Product so says the car manufacturing owners or old Toyota. ......Such huge investment certainly deserve returns, so Lampard should brace up or be sacked! |

Stupid English people! They are hesitating to sack him simply because he is an English man.....Lampard's sack is long overdue, with him Chelsea is heading nowhere. He should be replaced with Allegri, even Benitez an experienced coach won't be a bad idea if some Chelsea fans would allow him do his job. 1 Like |
