Many Nigerians have been scammed by unsuspected people who pose to be crypto traders amid the raise of Bitcoin value. Some have fallen to the lunging of their greed while some like our mothers and sisters have fallen to the trap of these ponzi stars who masquerade as crypto investment funds managers. In our 2020 Social Media for Social Good Summit tagged Social Media and the Smartphone Advantage, we included cryptocurrency to our list of trainings to help educate Nigerians on what cryptocurrency is about. One of the strongest point by our crypto trading instructor, is that cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, Ethereum, and so on) are not money! They are very volatile assets that are to be traded with caution. You can watch some of the videos from our live session on cryptocurrencies below 1. A General Introduction to Cryptocurrencies https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ecyattDWyKs 2. Possible Ways to Make Money with Cryptocurrencies https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IEvwoFu-XM 3. About Investing in Cryptocurrencies https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDO9SHfB0QE Thank you. |
