If you're here, then you're probably an avid reader like we are. As such, you must agree that spending all day and night on your screens is as tiring as it's unhealthy. There's just something about the pages of the best novels to read that is worlds better than keeping your nose pointed at your screens all day.

We've read a couple of good books in the past before. We must admit, we have our favourite authors. But, we'll keep this list as unbiased as we can. Without wasting too much of your time because we know your books won't read themselves, here are the best novels to read to get away from your screen.

1. The Last Stand by Stephen King

This one right here is quite lengthy. We read the uncut edition, and that was upwards of a thousand pages long. However, every last bit of it was absolutely delicious. The story is about a post-apocalyptic earth where much of humanity has been wiped out by a mutated flu virus. What's left of mankind now has to contend with each other as the remainder of humanity splits into a Satan-like force of evil and a God-like force of good.
