How about in non teaching govt hospital involving non medical staff, these technician guys entering labour ward, rolling in some equipments and actually stopping to look down at the open legs of a woman in labour, the doctor was observing the woman in labour and this guy was beside him looking down directlydiscussing with doctor matron came over to tell the doctor that this guy is not supposed to be beside him looking directly but the doctor waved her of.

The lady was certified fully dialated few minutes after the incident and taken to delivery room but the scenario rings In her memory.

The doctor should be polite enough to ask if a patient will be comfortable should the doctor invite the students. Patients will be lying down naked and u will just call some strangers in. It's crazy

Look at it this way. The Catholic doctrine does not believe in contraceptives. If for example there is a rape and the person presents to the Catholic hospital, now the person has a right to get contraceptives as part of care to prevent pregnancy. The Catholic hospital because of their doctrine do not support that, so they simply have to refer you to another place to get that service. Hospitals can safely refer a patient to another place if they are not able to continue with care for any reason. Key word is it must be safe to refer.

When you are registering in a tertiary hospital, you agree to used for teaching for teaching purposes. Just imagine every patients rejects. Who is going to be used to teach new doctors?'

No sane country allows that! Don't get used to abnormalities. Patients with special cases are sent to teaching hospitals not for them to be used to tutor students but because there are lots of specialists there. It is not possibbe for all patients to turn down a request to be used to tutor medical students and no one should be forced to do that.

I agree but they should still be told the essence and significance of why students like myself need be there.

I some history taking that the patient is inconvenient to say things with many people around, the consultant or doctor can ask few people to step out for a while.

But there is no better way to learn medicine outside hospital settling, you learn more than you can think of going to read. Something we plenty like pacific!

you're stupid and ignorant. Being a teaching hospital does not mean student doctors or nurses should use you as a guinea fowl. There is what is called patient rights and they cannot just call in student doctors and nurses if you do not want.
I had my dad at Babcock a few years ago and was surprised to see them bringing in student doctors and nurses without my consent, I raised hell for them and let them realise that is breaking patient confidentiality and the management called me to apologise

Yes it is and no one is in dispute of it being a teaching hospital. But, a patient has a right to be told what to expect, and that can be done by letting the patient know that some students will be invited.
