Popular controversial Anambra-based Pastor, Onyeze Jesus, have been apprehended by men of Nigerian police for a crime many called deceitfulness.



The controversial Pastor is the one who filmed his church members naked while performing money rituals. He has been brought into police custody over fraud allegations levelled against his person.

The Spokesperson of Anambra police command told Torixus on Thursday morning that the cleric was invited to the station for quizzing on Wednesday.

Proceeding, the Police spokesperson told our media (Torixus) that the commissioner of police, Abang John, gave an order for Onyeze to be detained in the custody for one day.



“Why do you think he was arrested? You’re aware that the Nigerian police don’t take people for more than 24 hours. So, if he is in custody, then it’s within 24 hours. He was picked up yesterday,” the commissioner said.

Recall, Torixus reported that Anambra state government released a statement saying that it had opened an investigation into fraud allegations levelled against the Clergyman by some of his former church members.

It said that the Clergyman anticipates superstition and strife in the society. By telling his brainwashed and blinded followers that their predicaments are caused by their family members, friends and business associates.

The police further noted they through magical powers, he is foaming serious disaster and enmity between persons and businesses. Those conflicts can either lead to fights, or even deaths as caused by hatred.



Torixus culled the police statement noting that his action of filming where he was throwing Naira notes into the river as part of his sacrificial processes has brought shame to Anambra state in general.
