One thing is to make wave for yourself in the Nigeria industry, another is to be a star-maker.

Generosity is not something common in the industry, it takes a lot of love for a celeb to spend his hard-earned money on another to make way in the industry.

We take a moment to appreciate some star-maker in the game and to make them all know that we see and feel their effort to help others and to keep the industry competitive as always for others to do better.

5. Wizkid

Wizkid is one of the most successful artists in Africa.

He first found regional success in 2011 with the massively popular single "Holla at Your Boy," which appeared on his debut album, Superstar.

He went global in 2016 after his collaboration with Drake. Balogun did not keep the money and fame to himself, he set up his record label “Starboy” and sign couple of your favorites today. The likes of Mr Eazi, L.A.X,  Terri, Legendury Beatz (Uzezi & Okiemute Oniko) etc. He’s being called starboy for a reason.

4. Funke Akindele

Funke Akindele is a Nigerian actress, film producer, and scriptwriter. She is popularly known as ‘Jenifa’, a character she played in a movie titled Jenifa.

Akindele has carved out a niche not just for herself but also for so many known actors and actresses today.

She has helped the likes of Omotunde Adebowale (Adaku), Lota Chukwu, Paschaline Alex Okoli, Juliana Olayode, and many more. The veteran actress is a star-maker.

3. Olamide

Olamide started as a struggling artist but was able to rise through the ranks and become one of the top stars in the country.

Despite the struggles he faced to become a known star, the young man has not hoarded his blessings and has made sure to share them with other up and coming talented musicians.

Olamide helped put on the map so many fantastic and talented artists, the likes of Lil kesh, Adekunle Gold, Fireboy, Temmi Ovwasa, Chinko Ekun, Lyta, and co.

Olamide is definitely the baddest rapper ever liveth.

The African’s Superstar and DMW boss King Davido is one of the most consistent and hard-working artists Nigeria has been blessed with despite the wealth background the artist was discovered from.

Most of those he put on the map has gone on to be megastars of their own and some of them are even his rivals today.

Davido brought a lot of people not just artists to the limelight with his 8years of relevance. The likes of Mayorkun, Humblesmit, Perruzi vibes, Dremo, etc.
