I have always had a phobia for mother in-laws. I mean, with the incessant negative comments about their wickedness to their daughters in law, I was deeply worried about how I'd handle one of such. I was 24 when I got married and need I say, I always was scared of my mother inlaw. She didn't treat me bad at all, but I was always thinking she's yet to reveal her true self.
