Chairman of the panel, Justice Doris Okuwobi, gave a ruling allowing the Lekki Concession Company (LCC) Ltd to repossess the toll gate.

The question is who is the true owner?Lekki Concession Company or Lagos state government?

They don't have a functional website and they were given a 30 year concession by Lagos state government.

Why is is LCC still in charge of the toll gate ? I remember Fashola govt paid LCC 7.5 billion naira in 2013 or 14 to buy the concession and then terminated it ...so please how come LCC is still in charge of the phoney criminal concession even after collecting 7 billion Naira buy out cash ?

This matter is confusing?Why is Lagos claiming to own it and yet Lekki Concession Company still run it.

A concession buy out is not a corporate acquisition please . The article never said Lagos bought LCC as an entity , it said Lagos terminated the concession and paid the concession buy out clause ...With the 7.5 paid LCC should be out of there and the Lagos Public Works office should take charge

Great point, the Lagos state Public Works office should have taken charge. And the personell manning the tollgates and in charge of revenue should be public servants.

Lagos state is run the same way the mafia runs their operations, in secrecy. Why should the petitioner contact LCC, when the contract was terminated and they got paid their buy out clause, LCC no longer has any locus standi.

Same thing they did with Alpha Beta 10% commission on internal generated revenue, they refused the Freedom of Information requests on the contract details.

LCC is a private company owned 100% by Lagos state government.

Staff of LCC are staff of LCC, they are not civil servants.

Public works cannot man the tollgate because Lagos state government already concessioned the road to LCC, a company owned by the state government.

Those manning the toll gates are staff of LCC and it’s normal for them to carry the ID and tags of the company.

Have you been born when Gov'ts owned companies like Firstbank, Nigeria Airways, NITEL, Sketch Newspapers, Wema Bank etc?

Were the workers in those companies civil servants? Were they wearing the I.D cards of their companies or just Gov't I.D cards?
