Video: Fani-Kayode has joined APC

The governor of #KogiState, Yahaya Bello, has announced that a controversial politician and former minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has joined the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

On Wednesday the Nation published the video of the governor addressing a crowd, saying Mr Fani-Kayode, who is a foundation member of APC, has rejoined the party.

Mr Fani-Kayode was the director of publicity in 2015 Peoples Democratic Party, #PDP, campaign council.

He is one of the most consistent and acerbic critic of the ruling party.

On Monday, Mr Fani-Kayode’s pictures with the governor of Kogi State, #YahayaBello and subsequently with the governor of Yobe State and chairman of the APC caretaker committee, Mai Mala Buni, sparked speculations that the controversial politician was planning to defect to the APC.

Although Mr Fani-Kayode said the visit to the two key politicians was to build bridges for the stability of the country, sources said the visit was to prepare ground for his imminent defection.

I've said it, I will say it and will continue saying it that the only grass that suffers in the fight between politicians are their supporters.

Don't burn bridges for any politician please.

They'll all unite someday but the bridge you'd be burning today is not repairable and irreplaceable.

The politicians who tear themselves apart through words today, will be together tomorrow laughing together while the hurtful words you said to your neighbor today will lead to enmity for life.
