Gunmen suspected to be cultists have killed two persons during an invasion of Rumuomasi community in Obio/Akpor local government area of Rivers State. The victims were said to be coming from the market axis of Rumuomasi when the gunmen opened fire on them. An eyewitness, who spoke in confidence, said the victims were trailed and murdered by the assailants at about 10pm on Wednesday. He said the sound of the gun caused panic in the area and forced residents to run to different directions for safety. He said: “The men who shot them were in a Toyota Sienna car.
