Mighty China bans “Great” Britain propagandists from operating on their soil. Now, that’s great news!

For a longtime, you can't watch the BBC in China. BBC, CNN, Fox news, ABC, google, youtube, Facebook, twitter, Yahoo news.., every online western news portal is currently banned in China! I don't even know how the west tolorates that, especially when Chinese apps like tiktok and wechat are making waves in the western World. The Chinese even banned Skype and whatsapp!!! Once they don't like the liberal disposition of the western media outlets, the next action is to ban.. Running up to the olympics, all these websites were open in China! You can even watch critical youtube channels that rubbishes the Chinese government from China. But few months after the olympics, the Chinese clamped down on all of these sites with little or no protests from the west. The likes of CNN and MSNBC and BBC can only be viewed in very few public places like the hotels. Most times with permission. Individually, you have to use some sort of vpn to access any of the sites, otherwise, you have to make use of the Chinese sites or the few western sites not yet noticed by the Chinese....

The Chinese government knows how to control the messaging and is not ready to share the control of the people with any foreign entity. That's why the Trump presidency's arms twisting tactics against them must have proven a big deal in Beijing. I think most wetern governments over the last 40 years or so have gotten so used to the Chinese "queer" behavior on sundry issues and have looked the other way whenever these kinds of behavior are showcased. The Chinese are aware of this and have taken time to assert themselves strongly on issues they consider to be very important to safeguarding their national interests including curtailing the invasion of the Chinese society by foreign news organizations, with unrestricted broadcasting.. In so many ways this is good too. It helps the leadership of the country to steer the citizens along patriotic lines in a world in which the western powers have turned imperialism and subjugation as lethal tools for the pursuant of their overreaching foreign policy goals..

5 star analysis. Well done

China should have long been invaded or some how sanctioned and put in their place, it's a shame they were allowed to grow as much as they have now .

Invaded ke?

Even the almighty USSR was terrified of a Chinese invasion back in the 60s: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sino-Soviet_border_conflict

China is now an even bigger boy.

You sef see am. Na real ment grin

These western countries think too highly of themselves with a lot of superiority complex.
I'm not a fan of Russian or chinese methods of governance and foreign policies but I feel those two are necessary for checks and balance of the west in the international scene. It won't be healthy for anyone if the west controls everything without checks.

Raab says it's unacceptable but when Ofcom banned the Chinese service because of political control, was it acceptable? This is why Sub-Saharan African countries should be rich - you talk when others are talking. If there is one thing I appreciate about the rise of China is that western countries will have a taste of what they do to other weaker countries. China is not a country to be bullied around.

China is all about propaganda. That's the same thing they are doing with China Global Television Networks in America. China media is all out to demarket the West just so they can rise. The West must wake up from their liberalism.

The West hasnt come to the term that today's China is no longer a small poor nation. I'm very sure China doesn't need UK for anything whatsoever, it UK that needs chinese money and investments; from banking to tourism, education, etc.
It's better they adjust to the term early that China is not one of the African nations they can address or treat anyhow.

China was never a small poor nation- I think what you meant to say is that they fail to come to terms that China is the current world power!

That is how a nation that has taken time to build its capacity responds to international threats and issues. Unlike this nation where since 1999 of democratic stupidity has brought untold hardship to her citizens, politicians with no foresight climb up there via violence, propaganda and mischief.. Homosexuality issues being forced upon the black nations by an incarnate and f the devil in the USA is now an issues am waiting for how our clueless government will either keep mute or still remain partially permissive without doing a thing....

But we like comparing Nigeria with China as a yardstick, so what gives??
Anyways, to develop at your own pace you must be politically ruthless like UAE, China, Singapore and Co.
You won’t get anywhere dancing to the tune of western liberalism.
