dowap5: Edo man. No one is abusing or forcing any one to be Igbo. On them contrary, we are angry with leeches like Wike, Amaechi and other clowns from the Bini claiming but Igbo speaking groups out there in SS are exploiting the Igbo tag when its expedient to do so. We are hoping they drop our Igbo names and language and revert to Bini ones. We are pushing them towards Bini. Biafra will be. And it will be a fully homogeneous Igbo republic made up of proudly Igbo speaking towns and clans .Know this and know peace. 5 Likes |

pazienza: What make you think you own the language they speak ? You once again assume that people should get permission from you to speak a language which you identify as close to yours ! You also assume people need your permission to bear names simmilar to yours ? In what planet are you guys living ? Do nigerians ask ghana permission to bear english names or to speak english ? Why can't you guys just live and let live ? |

dowap5: What in that picture is Bini? Does Oba Bini do Ofala/Ovala? Do you know what is Ofala? Do you know how deeply rooted in Nri traditions it is? Does the name Ezechima sound Bini to you? Do you know how many Onichas we have scattered in Igbo land like -Shires are scattered in. England? Develop your Edo land and stop looking towards Igbo land. Because even Igbanke in Edo state might not even be left for you, if you continue like this. 4 Likes |

pazienza: you keep pretending to be blind: THE SWORD All the rest you said is utter nonesense. For anybody who truly wants biafra, it is people like this guy whom are preventing it from ever materializing. You can't win if you are simultanously fighting for freedom and for bondage. You have to chose one: freedom or bondage ? the fulani are fighting for bondage, at least they are consistent, they know what they want, whereas you guys are walking in opposit directions. |

dowap5: Don't be silly. If they came from Bini, then they were initially Bini speakers and couldn't have invented the Igbo language they are currently speaking from thin air. Common sense dictates that they borrowed them from Igbos. English is a colonial language, Ghanaians still have their local languages. Ndiigbo never colonized these groups and they don't speak their Igbo dialects as second languages but as mother tongues. They have the right to identity as anything they like, but what they don't have right to is to claim they manufactured Igbo dialects they speak from thin air, unless you are telling me they speak Igbo language in ancient Bini. 4 Likes |

dowap5: The swords were Portuguese introduced in Bini empire. Many Igbos around copied it. Bini copied Igbo four market days of Eke, Orie , Afor and Nkwo too. Does that make Bini people Igbos,? Nigeria copied the British MACE as symbol of senate , does that now make Nigerians native British? The British copied government titles like Minister from the Romans who ruled Britain. Does that make British people Latin people? Common sense, you lots cannot have for once. 4 Likes |

pazienza: 1) speculations without facts. 2) I am not claiming anybody migrated from anywhere. i only quoted the folklore of the people which links them to Benin. 3) A folklore should not be taken litterally, what remains is that they are conscious of being linked to Benin, and that is all !!! 4) when two peoples are speaking similar languages, either one could have borrowed words from the other one, so it is also possible that the Anioma language was copied by the igbos (in the colonial era when we had built schools and were trying to have a common language for each region for example). Onitscha was seen by the igbos as an example to follow and it wouldn't surprise me to learn that the igbos of the south-east copied Onitcha's language. |

pazienza:1) I can't have numeorus people talking to me, so you guys should calm down. don't harass me. 2) The fact ghanaians were colonized by britian is irrelevant, the fact is nigerians and ghanaians speak a common language: english ! And nigeria doesn't ask ghana for permission to speak it (by the way, nigeria doesn't ask england for permission to speak english also). 3) You keep assuming with 0 knowledge that the language belongs to south-eatsern peoples 4) there is no such thing as igbo dialects, these are distinct languages with some similarities, but they are languages in their own right. 5) it is very likely that in the colonial era, the language of the onitcha people was copied by the south-easterners I am not here to have this stupid conversation with you guys again, rather I am here to say enough ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgYb8qT1do8&t=48s |
Re: We Are Not Igbos And Not Part Of Biafra- Anioma Ethnic Nationality by pazienza(m): 11:24pm On Feb 15, 2021 |
dowap5: 1. Facts on ground is that Anioma people speak Igbo language as mother tongue and all their gods are Igbo gods too. 2. Anioma has many folklores, the Bini migration story is just one of them. There is Igbo one, and then the autochthonous one. It just happened that the Bini ones are overhyped by the people post civil war, while the other two versions are suppressed for obvious reasons. History is a science and hence subject to rational analysis. An irrational history, expecially undocumented oral histories, is a red flag for a historical distortion. I have quoted a post to you too linking the people to Igbo. Which would rationally explain why they are Igbo speaking. 3. A folklore must pass through the crucible of rational analysis before it can be accepted. History is a science and not something you wake up and forge. A folklore of a supposedly Bini people like Igbanke living right in Edo state and Agbor whose neighbors are Bini people, waking up one day and start speaking a dialect of Igbo language as mother tongue without history of being colonized by Igbos is irrational and would be rightly questioned by any anthropologist. 4. So let me get this straight. You mean to tell me that supposedly Bini speaking ancestors of Anioma, Onitsha and Ikwerre people left Biniland as Bini speakers and formulated the Igbo language they currently speak on their journey away from Bini, which they taught the whole Igbo speaking clans in SE and as far as Isobo in Cross Rivers state who also speak a dialect of Igbo language? Does this make sense to you? 4 Likes |

dowap5: Im asking a question which you are refusing to answer. Is the Regalia a king wears more important than his ancestral language and his ancestral surname? If you say the King of Asaba is from Edo, why dont you show us a video where he said so? The king of Asaba speaks Igbo as his ancestral language, his surname is Igbo, he has said in this 2011 article that he is an Igbo man But you say we should ignore all of these facts and focus on his regalia? There was nothing such as Anioma until after Nigeria\Biafra war, thus, after 1970. Ethnicity does not spring from group of goons. |

dowap5: They all speak Hausa as a second language. They all have their own indigenous mother tongues. Stop being silly. Nigerian lawyers wear wigs, wow! Nigerian must be of British ancestry. That's how you sound posting Anioma kings on similar regalia as Oba Bini. Common sense should tell you they copied Oba Bini dressing style because of how powerful the Oba is. Same reason our lawyers are wearing white wigs in hot tropical sun. It's all out of imitation of the British. It doesn't make them British descendants. 1 Like |

pazienza: what exactly do you expect from this conversation ? For the 3rd time, dialect means language without a dictionnary. It doesn't mean "sub-language of a language". You can claim that Anioma have languages similar to yours but you can not claim that Anioma speak dialect of igbo, it makes no sense. You keep making unsubstantiated claims, when cornered by logics, you bring up an unsubstantiated claim. Who speaks haussa as second language and how do you know which language they spoke before adopting haussa ? This is ridiculous. |
