The blood of Tafawa Balewa, SIr Ahmadu Bello, Chief SLA Akintola, Brig. Ademulegun, Brig Maimalari, Col Raphel Sodeinde, Col Unegbe, MKO Abiola & other political, military & civilian martyrs are crying in their graves. There is therefore the need for urgent National repentance for this nation to move forward. Whoever has ears, let him/her hear.

Nigeria is not dead, can still be salvaged, if we are all sincere and honest..Also fear God..

I was thinking you are one of the sensible speakers, not knowing your 1st comment was a mistake from your keyboard.

What do you understand by Nigeria- The people or the landmark?

Nigeria is dead, does not mean the individuals. The individuals are from different countries and will go back to their original place. The artificial entity called Nigeria has expired and NOBODY NEEDS TO DISTURB HIMSELF - including Abdulsalami the Highest LOOTER and Intimidator of Jonathan, who directed GEJ to hand-over to Buhari for the sake of peace. That's why he is the peace committee Chairman. Ask him now if he has the peace North and their EVIL PLOTS!

The major project in a country should be to advance the course of social development and to ensure the upliftment of the living standards of the citizens! A country shouldn't be all about keeping it together, killing and maiming to guarantee it's existence, to the extent the existence of the country becomes even more important than the existence and quality of lives of the citizens! The contract is that the state serves the people, and the people fight for the state! A useless country is actually the worst curse to her citizens! The country exists for the citizens not the other way round. In essence, the importance of the country depends on the usefulness of such union to the human beings living in the country.

But here, in this convulsing amalgam, we always talk about Nigeria like an abstract! As if the country exists alone or in a vacuum. It's as if Nigeria is god.., some kind of deity that deserves daily obeisance, irrespective of its alarming shortcomings... Nobody queries the obviously utter uselessness of the country to her bemused citizens.. We fought to keep it one, die everyday to keep it one, struggle to keep it one, yet our lives get worse everyday! If the country can't help improve the quality of lives of the citizens and can't advance the course of social justice, what's the essence of it's tortuous existence then? Or are we going to fight another war to reinvent a false union that only works for a totally corrupt bunch of criminal elite?
you have just spoken my mind, thanks

What exactly did we achieve in the last 60years of this contraption called marriage?.... Nothing.
In marriage when there is loss of interest by both parties, what happens?.... The marriage gets dissolve.
So why can't this marriage called Nigeria be dissolved?...I guess our politicians are too greedy and wicked to allow that.
Sincerely speaking, power is not with the people.... Nigerians are slaves to their politicians, Southern politicians are slaves to the North. The North comprises of 10 Northern families, and they are the owners of this contraption.

For all its intentions and purposes, it is an objective fact that Nigeria is an Islamic State in disguise. Why should it not disintegrate?

I fervently pray that it disintegrates!

Amazing!!

This is surely the most thoughtful and thought-provoking post I have ever read on this forum.

I really wish everyone can read this post, reread it over and over again, and let it sink in.

We spend an insanely tremendous amount of energy trying to glue back pieces of a broken glass , ..that was never even whole in the first place. In the process, we keep hurting ourselves over and over again, all in this vainglorious effort.

If General Abdulsalami is sincere about his statement.

He should join the progressive and call for the implementation of the 2014 National conference report or just restructuring.

But he has been beating about the bush avoiding the main issue that is causing problems in Nigeria.

What is federal government doing with all the funds in Abuja when states should have these funds to run the economy.

It is only in Nigeria federal government want to control

Agriculture
Power
Education
Sea ports
Airport
Customs
Judiciary
Police
Railway
Telecommunication
Immigration

LET SOME OF THESE ITEMS BE DEVOLVE TO THE STATES SO THAT PEOPLE WILL LOOK TOWARDS THEIR OWN STATE AND NOT ABUJA.

Sir with much respect it seems your call is a bit late. May I ask you sir where are you all these while?

Pls I will say it a million time blame Buhari and his govt for whatever has and will befall this country. It has never be these bad in our history but one dead beat came and ruined our country completely.

Sir is this demential thing in Aso our own Buhari or a cloned one? Because our own Buhari I grew up to know can never be these daft, nonchalant, wicked, nepotic, bigot, careless like these. If he is a cloned Buhari its time for him to be send back to wherever damn hell he came from.

Sir you and your colleagues should do the right thing and dump all shit conspiracies to safe this country orelse this is just the begining.

Nigeria does not exist legally, morally or ethically. What Nigeria are you talking about? The one where the president is openly bigoted and allows his kinsmen to kill other Nigerians? The president who is incompetent and was chased away the first time came again to foist his incompetence on us again. Nigeria must be divided. Our fore fathers in their wisdom knew that Nigeria is a country of many nations, they created regions. But you badly educated and daft military people created this crazy contraption of deaths and broken dreams. You are still fighting g for one Nigeria. Abdulsalami, when will you return the money you stole? Useless criminal and thief. You should keep shut!

We will NEVER see real development with the way we go about things in this country , we are not one and can never be one, let face the fact. We either restructure this country OR allow the country to divide peacefully. We are holding ourselves back from real development if we continue to look for cosmetic solutions
