Adeboye, again, calls for Leah Sharibu’s release

Mr Adeboye called on all pastors in the RCCG as well as all well-meaning people all over the world to intensify their prayers and efforts towards Leah Sharibu's release.

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Enoch Adeboye, has again called for the immediate release of Leah Sharibu from her abductors.

In a statement personally signed by the clergyman, he called on all pastors in the RCCG as well as all well-meaning people all over the world to intensify their prayers and efforts towards her release.

Mr Adeboye charged every parent and people of goodwill all over the world to use whatever influence they have to ensure that Leah Sharibu as well as other children in captivity are released without any further delay.

On February 19 2018, 110 schoolgirls were abducted by the Boko Haram terrorist group from the Government Girls Science and Technical College, Dapchi, in Yobe State, Nigeria. Five of the girls reportedly died on the day of the abduction. While all the other girls were later released after some negotiation, only Leah Sharibu was left with the captors and she has since been in their custody

True, not just Leah Sharibu that we all know but also every other child in captivity that may be unknown to us but not to God.

I pray that they would all regain freedom before the end of this month. In Jesus name. Amen!

Many Christians were arrested and persecuted in the first century, many died as marthrs and the Apostles were helpless. The only helper they relied upon was God's Active Force (Holy Spirit) so they kept praying fervently to God for help not to be freed from the hands of their persecutors but for the inner strength to persevere to the end.

Jesus promised them that even if they die in the hands of their persecutors he will make sure that their names are written as a remembrance for resurrection.

There is no man/child of (the true) God that can call for the release of another child of God because Leah was taken as hostage due to her FAITH. So can we now say another child/man of the same FAITH has a say to the extent of calling for her release?

Well that can only be possible if the one calling for her release doesn't belong to the faith upon which Leah was kept as hostage! undecided

This one don watch Nollywood die! cheesy

Abeg leave Nollywood movies out of this matter, the real Jesus ordered his own followers to PRAY for their enemies {Matthew 5:44; Luke 6:28} and not to curse them! Luke 9:51-56

So if you're talking about another demonic Jesus no wahala but the original Jesus has nothing to do with people dying in his name o! smiley

Acts 12: 1 Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church.

And when Peter had come to himself, he said, “Now I know for certain that the Lord has sent His angel, and has delivered me from the hand of Herod and from all the expectation of the Jewish people.”

12 So, when he had considered this, he came to the house of Mary, the mother of John whose surname was Mark, where many were gathered together praying. 13 And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a girl named Rhoda came to answer. 14 When she recognized Peter’s voice, because of her gladness she did not open the gate, but ran in and announced that Peter stood before the gate. 15 But they said to her, “You are beside yourself!” Yet she kept insisting that it was so. So they said, “It is his angel.”

16 Now Peter continued knocking; and when they opened the door and saw him, they were astonished.

Acts 16: 25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose. 27 The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped. 28 But Paul shouted, “Don’t harm yourself! We are all here!”

How can the apostles be HELPLESS when Jesus promise them of an HELPER? cheesy

A classic case of e get as e be.

Do you pray for the release of your fellow brothers imprisoned or not as a JW? We will know if it is necessary to call for the release of LEAH just like you and your members do for your fellow brothers.
