Echala: @OP: Next time try to validate the story. There is no evidence this took place near a pooling station. No evidence of money being shared, just plain insinuations. |

Re: Lagos State Nass Elections Updates by ektbear: 8:55pm On Apr 09, 2011 |
Not sure it is good for any state to be controlled by one party. You need opposition. I hope the voters know what they are doing |
Re: Lagos State Nass Elections Updates by efisher(m): 8:58pm On Apr 09, 2011 |
ekt_bear: Yeah, a little touch of some opposition may be helpful. The result will help ACN become stronger at the federal level. They will decide a lot of things this time. They are using their brains while some others are using brute force. |

Re: Lagos State Nass Elections Updates by Remii(m): 11:08pm On Apr 09, 2011 |
I think Lagos Central Elections would be cancelled, Labour Party was conspicuously missing on the ballot papers. They complained last week also and should have be rectified before toady. |
Re: Lagos State Nass Elections Updates by dremoney(m): 12:07am On Apr 10, 2011 |
Still tryna figure what PDP would have done to Nigeria without a credible opposition like Tinubu (regardless his awkward ways). Nobody's perfect but he showed Obasanjo and co. how reliable, sensible and sensitive politicians should be. He beat them to their game hands down |

soloqy:If you believe that after the hue and cry, rumours etc, ACN can still impeach Fashola, you will believe anything These Lagos LPs guys are just talking about Tinubu, who are they? what is their pedigree? What will they do after 3years in office Pedro, former lagos Deputy Gov and LP candidate in 2007, is now with PDP I also hope you know that Labour does not have a presidential candidate - they support with Jonathan |

Weldone. I hope every Nigerians that witnessed any form of anomaly at the polling post report it on youtube too. We need to expose all these corrupt politicians and let them know that we can not be bought. I sympathised with the people trading their future with just N200, that shows how deep poverty has eaten into our society, all caused by the so called rouges in power. |
Re: Lagos State Nass Elections Updates by seguno2: 12:14pm On Apr 10, 2011 |
soloqy: BetaThings: I am sure you do not know that Fashola had to beg Tinubu for over three hours before Ashiwaju of Area boys endorsed him for a second term. Just as it is good and helpful for our democracy to have a strong opposition (e.g. ACN) at the federal level so [b]it is also good to have a strong opposition at the state and local levels. Let's make sure we identify credible non-ACN candidates for the Lagos House of Assembly elections. That should make Fashola perform even better and reduce how much of the tax paid by hardworking Lagosians and their federal allocation that Tinubu is collecting per se, per se as the super godfather. |

Re: Lagos State Nass Elections Updates by efisher(m): 12:30pm On Apr 10, 2011 |
Fashola is a brand on his own (with or without Tinubu). Quote me anywhere. Fashola can win an election (free and fair) in Lagos without Tinubu. If Tinubu turns his back on Fashola today, Tinubu will come crashing down. Many Lagosians even bear with Tinubu because of Fashola. We know Tinubu is far stronger in politics but Fashola has carved a niche for himself in Lagos. That is one reason why Tinubu will not turn his back on him. |

Re: Lagos State Nass Elections Updates by scatayan: 1:49pm On Apr 10, 2011 |
I voted all ACN in yesterday's election But I am begging every Lagosian to please vote massively against ACN in the state assembly election in Lagos. Lagos must not be turned into what OBJ turned Nigeria into. Infact, I voted ACN in the senate because Remi Tinubu was NOT from my constituency. Let's change for real. |
