What has come to the South west has also come to the South east and South south so your premise of Yoruba people bringing this upon themselves is childish and mischievous at best.

Yorubas may have voted for Buhari in 2015 but did every single Yoruba vote for Buhari? What about in 2019 where it was clear the elections were rigged in places such as Lagos, Osun and Ekiti, did Yorubas still vote for Buhari? I guess your expectation is that Yorubas should vote the way Igbos vote or the way the South South vote, whereas you fail to mention that before Buhari, the SW has been the greatest swing region in the entire country, voting pattern cannot be predicted as we have voted for both parties at different times.

What you do not realise is at the moment all of the Southern leadership are sellouts. The events in Ondo, Oyo and Ogun are also happening in Enugu, Imo and Ebonyi. The only difference is ESN is a private sponsored body whereas Amotekun was created by the same politicians who are trying to play both sides.

But overall to you, I say, be careful, be cautious. You may not like Yorubas as is evidenced from your post and there as many such as yourself (just as there are many Yorubas who do not like Igbos) but don't go celebrating when such things are happening. History has shown that it can happen anywhere to anybody.
