A Professor of English at the University of Ilorin, Prof. Mahfouz Adedimeji has been appointed as the first Vice Chancellor of the newly licensed Ahman Pategi University in Kwara State. The young Prof is a holder of Unilorin’s first, second and third degrees in English Language.

Prof. Adedimeji is a sought-after brilliant lecturer, resource person, columnist, writer and he was the former Director of the Centre for Peace and strategic studies among other leadership responsibilities at the better by far university. He is a member and executive of a number of professional associations including Nigerian English Studies association (NESA) and Fulbright Alumni Association of Nigeria (FAAN)..

Professor Adedimeji is an alumnus of the prestigious Fulbright scholarship of the United states. He has won several research awards among others. The new VC has over 45 well researched articles/publications in his kitty. The new VC keeps his write ups on his hot and spicy Mahfouz Adedimeji’s blog
