I'm sorry to shock you, you need it right now, you need to write your business plan down, anytime your friends, family or investors might ask for it, the invest in your business.

Business plan will give investors the clear picture of your business, most of investors wouldn't invest their hard earned money to your business, if they don't understand the clear picture of your business.

Even if you're their relatives, they are all after their return, writing clear, comphesive business plan can give you opportunity for investors to easily understand your business and fall in love with.

4. *Market Research:* This is one of the importance of a business plan, this research will show how huge is your market, investors are always interested to know much more about this, you have to agree on, who is going to conduct your market research.

5. *Revision*: There is going to be a lot of revisions when your writer is done with your business plan, you have to agree on, how many time, he/she is going to do that for you.

Before you apply for your next grant, do well to read this to the end.

Good morning!

Let me tell you the four things, you need to first know, before you apply for any grants.

1. Why: what's their purpose of setting up such grants? Don't just apply for any grants, because your idea is good. Do well to know the reason why they are setting up the grant first.

Some people will just write a proposal without, knowing the actual why, they are setting up the grant, do well to stop it.


2. Mission: You need to know their mission as well, what are they trying to achieve for setting up the grant?.

For example, if the mission of the grant is to eradicate, the price of food skyrocket during the dry season, your business proposal or pitch should be around their mission.

Don't say, because you have a good business idea in Fintech and you can easily apply for this.

As we'll know that, the price of food during the dry season, do skyrocket, there wouldn't be rain during that time.

Your business idea can be on an irrigation system for farmers, storage of food during the glut etc.

3. Selection criteria: Before you apply for any grants, do well to check the selection criteria.

Like, are you qualify to apply for it?

For example: If the grant says, those who can apply for this grant, are those who are based in some geographical location, age, have this kind of business model, those who have registered their business, two years of operation etc.

4. Past Awardees: You can search for those people, who have benefited from the grant before to put you through, how they were able to do it.

Their business idea, what are the things they put in place to get the grants etc.

You need someone that can help you to pitch your product, even, if someone doesn't have money to buy it right now, will be thinking about your product, day and night.

You can also write it by yourself if you have copywriting skills.

3. Generate Traffic to your offer.

:You can generate traffic through social media by running ads, you can use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Nairaland, Tiktok, Youtube etc.

4. Follow Up

You can do that, by sending him/her a message, especially, when he/she has input his email.
