Applications are open for the NSP Class of 2021-2022!

The Nigerian University of Technology and Management (NUTM), a pioneering higher education initiative founded to identify and train the next generation of leaders in technology and management in Nigeria and Africa recently launched its flagship initiative of NUTM in October 2020, the NUTM Scholars Program (NSP).
The NSP is a one-year interdisciplinary postgraduate program with a focus on Technology, Entrepreneurship and Design. Scholars are supported with full scholarships from Mastercard Foundation and courses are being delivered by a global faculty.. The program has selected 60 exceptional young individuals from the African continent for its Founding classes. It is a fully residential program at the NSP Campus at the Landmark Boulevard, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.

Now, applications are open for the second cohort of the NSP Class. The NSP aims to create leaders in technology and business for the Africa region, and the world drawing directly from the requirements of the region to design a transformative leadership experience.

Key Elements of NSP
The year-long program will be delivered over 8 terms. Typically, each term spans 5-6 weeks. Key elements of the program include:
▪ A multi-track curriculum in Technology, Management, Entrepreneurship and Design
▪ Classroom lectures by leading faculty from the African continent and the world
▪ Curated digital learning modules from top global schools
▪ Focus on the latest technologies to enable workplace readiness
▪ Exposure to global leaders through mentorship and guest lectures
▪ Entrepreneurship workshops and programs

What does the Scholarship cover?
NSP is a full scholarship covering tuition, course materials, accommodation, meals, and exchange programs.

Curriculum:
Through the course of one year, the NUTM Scholars will study courses offered across 6 tracks:

▪ Entrepreneurship and Design
▪ Management
▪ Leadership
▪ Perspectives
▪ Critical Thinking and Writing
