The covid-19 vaccine arrived in Nigeria on the 2nd of March 2021, which is a milestone for the country as it will help curb the deadly coronavirus.

Below is the rollout schedule for covid-19 vaccination in Nigeria.
March 2: Arrival of the vaccine.
March 4: The first vaccination centre will be at the National Hospital, Abuja, and frontline health workers and support staff will be vaccinated.
March 8: The government will commence the vaccination of SDF, Senate president, Speaker of the House of Reps, Attorney General of the Federation, Inspector General of Police, Ministers, Senators, Reps, Traditional and Religious Leaders at the National Assembly clinic, State House clinic and Federal Medical centre.

The phases of the test are as follows:
Phase 1: Vaccination of frontline workers and support staff and leaders.
Phase 2: Vaccination of the elderly from 50 years and above( priority on co-morbidity)
Phase 3: Vaccination of 18-49 years with co-morbidities.
Phase 4: Vaccination of the rest of the eligible population, 18-45 without morbidity.
