Stop ur divide and rule logic isn't working in the 21century, we are wiser now.

South are together in the fight against northern in Nigeria.

U pose a threat to our collective peaceful existence and in one voice we shall dismantle u mystication.

U have no more tactics in which u control the south any more. U have lost both political and moral justification to control our collective interest.

Few months without northern food to the South and the south will adjust and substitute beef for pork and chicken.

But what will the North do when the South cuts oil from reaching the North? What will it substitute with?

This is the reason they ate wasting billions of dollars every now and then searching for oil in the Chad basin. Once they get oil, then they will unleash food scarcity.

They forget these things don’t work anymore, we are now in the jet age. Don’t sell for me, I will buy from neighboring countries. But the north do not have anything to prove. They are the poorest charred remains of a burnt car!

Exactly. Southerners should start acting as if they understand this simple concept so we at least know that our superior education is not a waste.

Why always capitulating to the blackmail of the most uneducated and poorest region in Nigeria that should be greatful to the south for what it is?

Can any NL member show other nations of Africa, where Fulanis are present, that you have super-wealthy Fulani families and business titans like the Dangote or the Bua's etal?

Is it Mali, Senegal, Chad, Niger, Gambia, Sudan? Where exactly, outside Nigeria, do you see Fulanis wielding the same multi-billion dollars financial power they do in Nigeria?

Take the North out of Nigeria and the world will never witness a Fulani even one tenght as rich as Dangote ever again!!! It would not be possible for exactly the reasons it has been impossible in Fulani-dominated nations of Africa. Northern Nigeria would be worse than Mali but for the South.

The simple truth is that the Fulanis in Nigeria would be nowhere better than their counterparts in Mali, Chad, Niger and co but for the spending and consumption power of the Southern Nigerian market.

Problem is that we Southerners, even as we think we are better educated, are becoming too dumb, too lazy and too consumed with frivolities, like inane social media obsessions, to realize our own strenght and how to successfully leverage our demands based on such strenght.

Of course it is. Isn't the revelation below enough of a reality check for all Nigerians , whether from the North or South, to accept it is the North that is without any real bargaining chip in the grand scheme of things?

Minus FG partisan use of power, via border closure, how can the South be prevented from using their own money to secure food sufficiency from the many desperately waiting markets around us outside Nigeria? Blockade of food from North can only have any effect on the South if 'big brother' Fulani FG decide to abuse power in favour of the North. Inversely, can the North find it easy to replace the big market of Southern Nigeria?

If not that Southerners are egotistical mumus, more interested in fighting each other than seeing what is very obvious, what exactly does the North have to blackmail the South or even SW with if they exclusively wish to make their vainglorious attack to be against the Yorubas alone?

Typically, the egostistic, callous and anti-people leaders of the North are pushing ordinary Northerners, the ones to suffer, into fighting a war against the South they do not have the means to win rather than showing even the smallest contrition for all the problems they have caused Southerners all in the name of "one Nigeria". The arrogance of Northerners is simply something to behold.

The north will do the usual thing. It will crank up means to harvest the saboteurs which is very surplus in southern Nigeria especially in the southwest and the so-called minorities.

Afterall we have given you empty IPOBian Braggarts your biggest and most successful home, by far, outside your traditional domain of SE Nigeria.

We accommodate Northerners too in millions because we have the inherent capacity, goodwill towards others and benevolent attitude to be that way .

You Igbos don't have anything close to that so start respecting those who can give what you never can that you Igbos even happen to be the biggest beneficiaries of in Nigeria.

You guys should stop mentioning oil in this whole thing. The argument of oil is redundant under a partisan Fulani-led FG that controls all our armed forces.

What we have that no FG can commandeer is our pockets. If we refuse to buy food and Cattle from the North then Northerners will starve. They will experience greater destitution and desperation because they are very poor anyway and host 87% of the entire poverty rate in Nigeria.

The purchasing power of Southern Nigeria ,especially SW, is what gives Nigeria it's hugely impressive and universally feted market world FDI , beyond Africa, is always trying to penetrate.

The North will be destroyed economically in no time if the myopic, undisciplined and greedy South can look at the big picture, refused to be blackmailed and keep their money in their pocket by refusing to buy anything from the North. As simple as that.

Smart.

We can't stop oil supply. But we can answer with our pockets.

- In Minna ( Garatu) : Kwarai of feet size yam tubers from 45k to 18k

- In His (Barking Ladi, Anpam West), bag of arish potatoes from N17k to N9k. [Unity FM Jos]

- In Kano: farmers went to the extent of unsuccessfully trying to use the airport to move food down to the South. [ Nairaland]

- In Abuja: the DSS was inviting herders to settle the issue (Daily Trust).

- In Bauchi ( Til De Fulani), farmers were promoting unity (North & South)

- In some media, Millions were lost to food transported to other countries from the North.

At the end, the Northerners who singlehandedly declared the blockade, called it off.

They gloriously lost the war!

Good talk. Southerners have become to oblivious of the current situation that we are already in a mess. Our ideologies have become dysfunctional to our cause as one people, currently we may be referred to as educated idiotts (pardon my language).

We have a lot of critical thinking to do in other to recreate and implement our ideologies for survival in an ever changing environment we currently find ourselves.
